Here locally in NorCal we are in full drought mode. I already have low flush crappers, and I we all try to take quick showers. My lawn has been off since last October. Our water bill rates us on our water usage, and we use half of what the average family of three does. I'm good with that.

Yeah, I drove the length of California the last couple months, was pretty amazed at how dry everything is. Miles and miles of arid brown fields and hills where there should be green.

Won't I use more water if I have to take a shower each time I piss? Maybe we should all purify our urine for drinking. Think of all the water we could save then.

I HATE those low flow toilets all over california.
Everytime you take a shit you have to flush like 3 times to get it all down. And theres so little water that it causes a sludge down there. So disgusting lol

Yes but you need to drink a decent amount of water to make your piss taste good...

Yeah.... They call it "Congress created the dust bowl". This seems to be less about the drought and more about how Congress cut off the normal flow of water because of the Endangered Species Act trying to protect some fish or not. While water rights issues are very real and very serious, I think the farms on route 5 there intentionally do not water their fields by the sides of the freeway so make it look much worse than it is.
This has been going on for some time now.
The drought here in Norcal is getting bad. Last week my HOA announced they will longer fine people who have brown lawns. I plan on letting mine go this year.
