A Nebraska porn star is in jail for taking nude photos on the grounds of her former Catholic high school.

Valerie Dodds, known as Val Midwest, started her 45-day sentence Wednesday for public indecency and trespassing, KETV reported.

The 19-year-old was convicted in December after she posed nude outside her former high school and posted the photos on her adult website, the station reported. She had previously said she took the photos as revenge against the teachers and students who gave her a hard time about her choice of career.

"I'm taking it as a really bad vacation," Dodds said before starting her jail time. "I'm not going to work or do anything. I feel like I'm harmless as to what I did, and they are definitely bringing the hammer as far as the sentencing goes."

It's all part of an elaborate promo, they've also managed to get another hot model and a photographer jailed for the same dates and location. Though they're not legally allowed to make porn in jail it's still worth doing as all the mainstream news stories from it will make the content go viral!

That's all this guy knows how to do. Find a cute chick and instead of making money the legit way, he gets the girls into trouble and into the news and it's a promo tool.

Years from now the fallout of the legal proceedings and jail time will be things she regrets. Not right away, but down the road a few years. These stupid youthful mistakes follow you for life.

Background checks can be a real eye opener when applying for jobs, getting clearances, etc

Now that the local police and law enforcement know who you are, who you are associated with and what these associates do for a living, I would not be shocked to have more legal problems later. Once your in the system - its impossible to get out ... the eye is upon you.

The people around her will flee after a few more times in jail or the money's gone. Either one and this girl will find out how life really plays out when the camera's gone.

If this was the UK, then no.

In the UK she would not have commited a crime unless she had sex or wee in public. Being nude is not a crime (unless somone is offended).

In scotland it would be an offence. But even in scotland i presume she would not have to be registered as a sex offender.

It looks like the offence was "indecent exposure". She got a ticket for trespassing and public nudity.

there is no reason she would be denied a passport on these charges.

public indecency and trespassing are not charges that would restrict her from getting a passport or keep her out of other countries.

drug convictions, nor felonies prevent you from getting a passport, or getting into any countries. Only country that seems to have really strict immigration for any crimes is Canada. Probation/parole are the only things that might prevent travel.

I'm a drug felon and I've been to 30+ countries, never had a problem one, except when re-entering US. Canada has tried to bar my entry but can not, as i am a dual citizen, once they realize they, they open the gate.
