That would mean we could only use drinking water as mouth wash, then spit it out. Same reason we don't drink sun screen.

There are warnings on tubes of toothpaste about the toxicity of Fluoride.

theres warnings on mouthwash as well. you know your not supposed to eat the toothpaste right? good luck with your tooth decay.
