Did anyone catch Saddam's speech?
He did make a good point that America will only corrupt Iraq by erecting a government where political parties are run by big money and they cheat and spread lies to get elected. This though is coming from a totalitarian dictator. I'm sure the muslims would rather have a reasonable form of socialism rather than a corrupt capitalist democracy. We don't need more greed in the world, we need more satisfied people. |

you guys are wrong about him not answering questions.
if i remember correctly mr bush answered 2 of them directly. 1st was will he give inspectors and volunteers time to evacuate before an attack. he said yes. 2nd was something about faith and prayer. he said he prays everyday and that americans all over the country are praying for him. :1orglaugh the rest he totally avoided. personally i liked this question that he avoided: "Mr. President, you and your top advisers, notably Secretary of State Powell, have repeatedly said that we have shared with our allies all of the current, up-to-date intelligence information that proves the imminence of the threat we face from Saddam Hussein and that they have been sharing their intelligence as well. If all of these nations, all of them our normal allies, have access to the same intelligence information, why is it that they are reluctant to think that the threat is so real, so imminent that we need to move to the brink of war now?" |

What's even worse is this cowboy thumbing his nose at the rest of the world and invading another country and I can see it escalating from there to a point where the U.S. will have very few friends in the world. 50+ years of diplomacy, treaties, and alliances created since WWII turned to shit by a guy who didn't even win the popular vote. |
