I work with a lot of the studios. Most of them are not really involved with online. They have companies like mine that sell their stuff so they can focus on new content. Some have firms that manage content theft, some do it in house and others just do not have the money to do it and just catch the ones they can. I have some older studios that are not producing and making good money just with copyright infringements. Each studio is different and takes a lot of time to police. Well at least that is what most tell me. I guess it is like government, theft got to big to control.

I agree that this is a pretty "dog eat dog" industry but I can't imagine anyone uniting to stop producing content to starve out tubes. Especially when producers are making them affiliates. That's like catching your wife fucking some other dude and inviting him over for dinner.

The way to combat theft is to stop the leaks.

I never said stop production and to this effect I have not stopped producing.

I admit that I have decreased production but that is because it costs me slightly more to produce and my post production work is significantly more. What I have done is that I have found a way to keep the crooks from making a meal out of me.

Sorry for talking talking in code but not only is GFY filled with crooks and con artists but the jizz biz is like a bunch of lemmings all following along anyone that they think is leading.

Stealing content will cause this industry some massive imbalance.
