While Mexican oil is more costly to process than Middle Eastern oil, think of how the US would benefit from helping Mexico's economy improve. There would be a lot less border problems. I hear black tar heroin from Mexico is much harder to process than that much cleaner shit from the middle east, but it doesn't stop us from importing more heroin from mexico than the middle east.
