maybe for some, all depends on the little guys mindset and heart. growing up i was always smaller than the rest of my classmates(i started school very very early so i'm 1-2 years younger than everyone). growing up i got into a lot of fights with guys who were alot bigger than i was because they figured i was a punk because i was small. not saying that i won all my fights or anything like that but i shocked a lot of nay sayers growing up. call it little man syndrome or whatever but i will sock the shit out of someone then let the ass beating begin!

size means everything in a fight if the skills are similar. Roy Jones was 10x the fighter Ruiz was, and that's why he won. Even in NHB size makes the difference, it's just a shitty fact of life. At 5'8, that's why I train at Gracie, I need :helpme I'm not throwing punches, I'm going to the ground right away at all costs.

also, to make a generalization, you should never box with a black guy, they're FAST. I dunno why everyone is dissing that black guy's skills, he was a pretty good standup fighter. Evaded the first blow, caught the other guy square in the face and never stopped punching, that's how you're supposed to do it.

You know, I used to LOVE to fight. Seriously love it. I used to get my ass beat plenty by dudes with more skill, but I didn't care. It felt good to be in a fight.

But nowadays, I keep my ass out of trouble. I walk the straight and narrow, and try not to get in someone's face even when they're asking for it. However, when it comes down to self fuckin defense, why bother learning a martial art? If someone breaks into my house, or threatens my family... I'm not going to kick the shit out of them. I'm literally just going to make them dead.

For self-defense, nothing beats a loaded gun.
