Quite funny to hear Ricciardo say he was "trippin' balls" up on the podium... :winkwink:

Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo disqualified from the results of the Australian GP
Daniel Ricciardo has been denied a dream debut for Red Bull after being disqualified from the results of the Australian GP.

The Red Bull driver had finished in second place on the road but has been excluded from the race result for a breach of Article 5.1.4 of the Formula 1 Technical Regulations, which states that, 'Fuel mass flow must not exceed 100kg/h'.

In a verdict delivered five hours after the end of the race and just before midnight in Melbourne, stewards disqualified the 24-year-old Australian after ruling that his RB10 had 'consistently exceeded the maximum fuel flow of 100kg per hour'.

Sucks for him... :Oh crap

i dont understand this part...

they have 100kg gas on board and if the car uses more, it won't finish. simple as that.

or not?

I think it was less to do about the breach and more to do with Red Bull, in their infinite wisdom that ultimately has punished Ricciardo, decided to ignore the instructions and do what they thought was best instead.

While I really feel sorry for Ricciardo, I can't say I'm unhappy that for once Christian Horner couldn't talk his way out of this one.

They seemed slower, and the sound was shit. Not as loud, not as aggressive.

I lost interest when Schumi stopped the first time. Any news on his condition btw?

Now that Kevin is part of F1 I am going to watch it again.

I was staying in Melbourne less than a k from the track and could not hear the cars at all.

The people I was with said in previous years, the noise was deafening in comparison.

They wrecked the f1 completely with these gay engines.

No heard anything lately which would suggest things are getting any better for him anyway. It's just a waiting game sadly. Hopefully he pulls through in the end. Though it has been an awful long time now since the accident... :(

"Infinite" wisdom...
{I see what you did there!}

Indeed it's been a long time now and without any news. I really hope the best for him.

They are trying to make F1 high tech and "green" instead of full on speed and racing.... Sucks, but the drivers will still have to use their talents to get around the track.

What is the point? Besides losing audience?
Race is about racing "to the limits" and not high tech and green.
