Agreed on the 17" screen - too big & heavy. Less is more. I have one and hate hauling that fucker around, always go with the 15" when I'm out & about.*********

I have a 14 inch screen on my new Lenovo and it is perfect size for being mobile while still able to get some work done. I don't miss the numbers pad. When I am home I plug in my own mouse and keyboard. Keys on this Lenovo are a little spongy but I got used to it.
I had a 17 inch Macbook and hated the size. I think when you get it to that size you have to be so much more careful not to damage it in any way when moving it around even when it is in a case.Comment

The PC laptop I bought 5 years ago was full res. The $500 laptop my parents just bought does 1080p. I don't see why the one in the link wouldn't either. Even intel integrated can handle full res HD and has for a few years now.
