    Stop making porn. Make youtube films.

    Many people are making a LOT of $$$ by making low quality films and putting them on youtube.

    Often using just a camera phone.

    They get paid by views.

    Yet many of you have pro gear.

    Is it time to switch from shooting porn to youtube films?

    Be your own TV firm.

    Be creative.

    And start to make $$$$.

                                      Monetization on youtube is very disappointing unless you get millions of views. Look at the Rebecca black case - seriously - how much she made on iTunes vs. Youtube. Clean viners make $10k per 1m followers for a placement vine; they make much less on youtube.

                                                          My thought is if you have the people to make a mini soap. say last 5 mins a time.

                                                          in the uk on bbc radio 4 they have a daily soap that is only a few mins long called 'The Archers'.

                                                          you could do somthing like that. the idea being that people would keep looking at all your films.

                                                          you could easily film serveral shows in a few hours. then put them out over serveral days.

                                                          or what about an x-factor style show. very easy and cheap to do.

                                                          and you can still do porn without porn. by this i mean girls in undies or fetish clothes, so no nudety. but that said i have seen a lot of nude films on youtube.



                                                          one thing that seems to be missing is soft core type films they used to make.



                                                          I would sugest that these types of soft core films will make a comeback.

                                                          by the way the Confessions Of A Window Cleaner film, one of the male actors is the father of Cherie Blair who as you may know is wife of ex-Prime Minister, Tony Blair. His name being Antony Booth aka Tony Booth.

I certainly am not claiming I make 10K per vine - my vine has 550 followers; that is the rate that is publicly quoted by a well known vine "artist".                                                                                       Possibly but it takes a lot of work. A while back I tried to lay out the business case and no one will sell their sfw content for cheap, and making a vid that gets lots of views is expensive.

                                                                                      The other issue is that you can't really manage whether you're CPM or not and the rates are abysmal. So you may be thinking you'll get .10 per K but you'll wind up with .03 per K. Even the high view folks are always complaining about this.

                                                                                      It seems like youtube is best to get you respect and traffic for other things like itunes, your site, or your work.

                                                                                                  Jenna Marbles video "How to trick people into thinking you're good looking" got like 56 million views but made $0 because she had Rick Ashley music in the background.

                                                                                                  Try making a video go viral 100% on your own with no one elses music or clips, its close to impossible.

                                                                                                      i'm sure theres intelligent ppl with youtube channels, ppl who actually have smth to talk about, yet the trends in our civilization are to reward stupidity and cretinism - and that kind of shows are most popular. basically the more stupid you look or you make yourself biggest cretin - the more views you can have.

Use the text areas well to link and describe accurately and have a main site waiting to keep them around and show them ads that they might actually care about.

You have to be able to regularly get a lot of viewers to your views. One viral hit won't be enough. If you think you have an idea that is good enough to attract potentially millions of views to your videos per month you can make some good money. Otherwise you will likely not make much of anything.
