hi gfy. after checking some of my stats, it is really time again to do some test joins. so for all the companies out there, in next weeks i will be doing test joins maybe also on your sites. if there is someone who have problem with it, feel free to contact me at radimcillik at gmail. once there is something interesting to report, all will be posted here to let others know, so turn your shave machines off! j/k, hope there will be nothing to report and all that unblievable shitty stats are just a mirror of todays porn buying power thanks for understanding and have a nice day everyone ps, if someone have some target to test, let me know at the same email

you should probably notify sponsors individually before you do that. programs don't use gfy for their support forum. otherwise you could endanger your status with the programs. just friendly advice.

Shaving is the obvious problem, not the actual one...

Please report on any site that you were not able to complete a transaction on (join) and what the problem was (site stalled, card declined, etc.)

Brad Gosse presented similar findings at one of our XBIZ events, where he was unable to join sites from some of the biggest names in adult -- sites whose operators / owners were in the audience and whose names you've seen on this board, but who haven't (at least lately) tested their own site's join process, using an actual credit / debit card, rather than a biller's admin panel test transaction link...

Don't assume your site is actually working, just because it used to, or because you're so good you don't need to actually test it...

If program was shaving and they noticed this thread they would turn it off temporary and you would not catch them.

Of course you may need so proof that you were doing tests and not scamming. Maybe smaller scale announcement or even notifying few respected webmasters that they could vouch for you if some sponsor accused you of scamming.

Nothing wrong with testing for shaving...

After the first hour inform the program of the join. I have actually had some programs allow me to keep the join. Nasty Dollars was one of them. TeenRevenue another. Of course this was back in 2009. No idea how they'd react now.

I think it was proven that it is not that difficult to shave, even using NATS. I remember big thread about this, some program owner proved it was possible and not that difficultly.

there aren't enough sales out there anymore for it to even make sense for an affiliate program to shave its sponsors... the only way I would even consider shaving would be reversed shaving where I add sales to an affiliate to get them motivated, but shaving is so 1999

I'm not sure why people think shaving is unthinkable when programs publicly do all sorts of other shady bullshit to rob affiliates. I'm not going to point anyone in particular out, but there have been many threads on traffic leaks, short cookies, uncounted/reloaded pages, heavy watermark URL's, and many many other issues, including forcibly downloading Epassporte losses on to affiliates.

And then there's the large obvious fact of the shaving that was uncovered last year when "a banned user" did some testing causing that program to withdraw from the boards.
