There's a right buyer for everything.

^ this right here.

You'd be crazy to sell it for 30k if you're netting $2500 a month consistently.

Contact every website broker that you can find and try to list it with them. I've seen sites making $300 a month sell for 30k. It's all about who you get it in front of.

I also believe its really depends on the buyer.

I can speak for my self...i can buy sites for much more that what people list here, if i see the right potential.
I will give an example:

I have traffic in some micro niche, and i know i can make sells, other guy, can open a great site in the same niche, but has no traffic and make very little, let's say, only 100$ a month.
Here everybody say, he will sell it for 600- 1200$ max, but in my case, i willing to pay much much more, as i know i can make with it much more than he can.

So, it's all about potential for the buyer.

When visiting the link in your sig and going here

http://everestcash.com/partners/register.cgi

There's a ton of broken images in the top of the page.

That's not going to encourage people to sign up to the program.

It goes both ways too though. Current owner is far more familiar with the site and maybe able to run it just right to maintain current earnings. Also with porn in this day and age you constantly need more traffic to just maintain. So trying to see a year into the future can be difficult and risky

I think he's referring to the basic idea that sometimes you can wait for the right buyer to come along for something that you are selling. He was just using sale of his house as an example.

It doesn't mean that it's guaranteed to happen. It just means that it could happen.

http://www.JoePusher.com

It's an extremely bad example that just reveals that the poster is probably pretty clueless. Anyhow, a regular car for sale would have been a much better example.

The point is that the longer it takes to sell your website, the less it will be sold for.

Same with my car, I am trying to sell one. It's not being sold. I could lower the price or wait. Result is probably the same in the end = I get less money for my car... unless if it's a super special car that gets more valuable as it ages. But it's not. Kinda like your site, it won't get more valuable if you wait, it'll get less valuable.

The fact is that you have been trying to sell this for a long time - and not been able to - tells me that you are either trying to sell this the wrong way, at the wrong place or for the wrong price.

But yea, you might get lucky. I hope you do. But I wouldn't bet on it :)

Good advice. I've just mainly been talking about it on here, but I'm going to try to do that. Do you know of a certain website for that? Thanks

Yes. Actually it is :pimp Both are depreciating assets, the rate might be different but fact is that unless he does something drastic to that website, value will drop over time .

Off the top of my head latonas.com. Just google website brokers and hit them all up.

Forget about this place...You have guys above comparing your site to a used car.

Really? You're comparing probably the worst investment you can make (a car) to a cash flow producing asset?

LOL.
