Sure sure.

I'm all for legalizing it, but I don't see this helping. I see them building a hemp farm to grow stuff and people stealing their crops at night.

They said the same thing about the opium poppy farms in Tasmania. Sure, a little probably does go missing, but not enough to affect the overall crop really. Besides, the hemp they want to use for industry is so low in THC that even if they do knock off a crop, they wont bother knocking off a second.

This isn't about the getting high stuff, it's about HEMP. You know the stuff the first American flag was made of, the first draft of the declaration of independence was written on. They can make all sorts of useful stuff out of it and it grows fast.
This is a good thing , because now colleges can experiment and make new things from it

Industrial hemp only for now. Gotta wait for the growers to develop enough to lobby (pay off) Washington to go all the way.

Sorry dude if you attribute anything positive from Obama about Cannabis or Hemp you are a fucking idiot. He has been drug...... kicking and screaming. He had fucking 0 to do with this other than knowing if he goes against it he might get drug.... out of there before his term is up. That man deserves ZERO credit for this.

Obama simply signed the bill. a Republican congressman was one of the ones who introduced (drafted) it and the Republican senator Mcconnell "successfully worked to retain and strengthen the hemp research amendment during the Farm Bill conference committee process".

Why would they steal them? Or are you talking about uninformed people who would think it would be smokable?

I read that yesterday and was laughing my ass off.

Hemp has a lot of great uses. My grandpa had some growing wild on his farm, I always gave him a hard time about it.

Is he still farming? What's his view on this farm legislation? I've read it's the worst farm law(s) ever passed and basically legislates in Monsanto and big farming via requirements and subsidies.

He mainly leases it out to other farmers for their cattle or to the government for? subsidies!

Farming, like every other business, is an insane business.

Why steal it when it probably contains around 0.1% THC? It's not like they would grow the "real stuff". :P

Who what?

I was just letting you know that I appreciated that knee-slapper of a joke you posted.

But since you brought it up, IT WAS GEORGE W BUSH WHO SENT THOSE POOR BASTARDS TO THEIR DEATHS FOR NO FUCKING REASON AT ALL, AND WHO LIED TO EVERYONE ABOUT IT INCLUDING THE REAL COSTS, NOT OBAMA.

The sad thing is with republicans like you is that you can't ever get your facts straight, and that instead of bothering to learn the truth, you prefer instead to hold bastards like GW Bush, Cheeney and your Lord and Savior Ronald Regan in God-like regard instead.

581 troops under Bush died in Afghanistan, pretty damn bad
1662 troops under Obama died in Afghanistan, for what?

Put a spin on that!
