whats a blackberry device? i was going to buy a 2way but i think the monthly bill is too expensive. i was going to get one of those tmobile sidekicks which is a 2way and a cellphone in one from amazon.com because they had a free after rebate offer, but they ran out of stock.

What about regular cellphones in the US ? Don´t you have SMS ?

With the new ones over here you can receive and send email via your POP-accounts. The new Nokia Communicator even has a good browser supporting Flash and Real Player, you can even use ICQ with it.

i dont see how a laptop could replace a 2way. the only reason i would want a 2way is to communicate with my friends that have 2ways right then and there when i needed to.

My phone has SMS, aim, e-mail, ability to check other pop3 accounts, etc. I can even telnet or get on irc if I want. It has a full qwerty keyboard too so it's not a bitch to type. If you like'd 2 way i'd check out the t-mobile sidekick.

Yeah I got it a few days ago and so far it's been great. Only complaint is I don't think the browser supports cookies. Other than that it's been great.

I think there is a world market for maybe five computers.

It's a T-Mobile sidekick, the only thing I think it lacks is a color display and cookie support. Was happy to find out that the pictures it takes show up in color on the computer though.

It has no internal telnet app, but people write their own that interface with the aim client it uses or sometimes the http client. Check out the www.hiptop.com msg boards to see if anyone's done SSH yet. I'm sure we can expect an internal one though when the SDK is released.
