Maybe rumors about the next Mt.Gox scandal? It also seems like
the big exchanges ( US and Chinese ) faked their statistics.
US exchanges with the intention to drop the price while Chinese
exchanges tried to push the price.

Just look at http://fiatleak.com/, makes no sense.

There needs more big and stable exchangers, the BTC price it is too much dependent on what MtGox does, it makes no sense a "currency" value is determined by tech issues of a single site run by 3 kids in Japan...
