Listening to Fox News this morning and

...the never ending bashing of the President reaches rediculousness and school ground levels.
BTW I am not a big fan of the President nor am I a Democrat or a Republican but Fox News takes its bashing to a childish level.

If you're talking about Sean Hannity... yes, he's a douche. A few others are pretty douchey as well.

But I still find Fox News (on the whole) to be more even handed than the slobbering Obama propagandists on the other channels.

Well...I only know of one that I would call "slobbering" and that is MSNBC...maybe you will agree to educate me and name some others.

Honestly it's a pretty sad situation when the most useful news shows are on Comedy Central.. I'd put John Stewart or Steven Colbert' ahead of any of the major network talking heads when it comes to unbiased and accuracy.

In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.

It's all about it's base and ratings, that's why MSNBC has had one guy fired over comments on Sarah Palin and another had to apologize for Racial remarks about Mitt Romney.

So what is Fox saying that the President is doing wrong? Or are they just not as forgiving to the president as MSNBC?

In the first week of November in the fifth year of their presidencies, Obama and Bush have nearly identical approval numbers, according to the latest Gallup polling.

In fact, Bush comes out one point ahead, 40 percent to 39 percent, respectively
Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
                  think about that

John Stewart had a lot of fun with the interview with Pelosi over Obamacare

It's pretty much impossible for you to ever critique anyone from the right wing isn't it. It doesn't matter who it is or what they did, you just can't utter the words that someone from the right is doing something wrong.. Honestly man it's very humorous to watch,,

Most of the experts are picking the democrats to lose the senate this year along with the house. Assuming that happens, Mr. Barack LameDuck Obama can't do too much more damage in the next 2 years.

Are those the same experts whom also claimed the last two elections were going to be close? Sorry Mint, but Republicans have killed their chances with about 60% of this country if not more. They have alienated pretty much everyone..

people in their camp have no idea of how badly the Republican party inflicts severe wounds on itself. FOX news never talks about all of the underhanded laws they try to sneak through to hamper voting rights, the anti-gay stuff, the obsession with controlling women's vaginas, the ignorant/half-witted comments and constant parade of foot in mouth episodes that are on tape for everyone to see.

Half the party has been infiltrated by a class of people who don't represent the rest of the country. They're trying to hold on an image of America that isn't going to exist in a few years. They hate government as much as hey hate black people or immigrants, so there's nothing they can do except obstruct and make the image of the Republican party even worse than Bush already made it.

Once again this falls back to the Bush admin as Karl Rove realized the GOP could capture the Religious Right vote, which is largely what brought Bush into power. The problem is the GOP was already losing touch with fiscal conservatism after Bush Sr and Reagan's budget busting spending sprees and conservatism took on a new meaning out with the old fiscal in with the new religious conservatives.

The problem is the religious nuts expected the Bush admin to do away with woman's rights to abortion, push creationism in schools and do away with the science stuff, they wanted less porn on the net and to pray away the gays. The right essentially made a deal with the moral police to get elected and then mostly snubbed them and ignored all their crazy ideas of what they wanted Bush to do.

Bush's own words.. "fool me once, shame on ? shame on you. Fool me ? you can't get fooled again.". Well Bush fooled them two times as he promised them all the same things again and they faithfully voted for him a second time only to be on the receiving end of more empty promises with the GOP once again ignoring their crazy ideals.

The next election the Religious Right was nowhere to be found but in entered a new movement full of many of the same crazy ideas, this time with a new name and their own politicians. The Tea Party is essentially the left over remains of the Religious Right repackaged and rebranded in order to appeal to a broader audience, this time they were successful in taking seats away from other Republicans and made a pretty bold power move for the Republican Party.

The problem is they just can't keep the crazy under wraps and it keeps sticking it's head out at every opportunity. The Republican Party is now scared of the monster they created because if they don't keep drifting further and further to the right to appease the loonies, the monster sets it's eyes on their own and they end up at the end of negative campaign spending spree from the big money tea party supporters,

The Republican Party is for the most part on it's dying last breath. The loonies have taken too much of their party support and that means any attempt at pushing the loonies out equals a even smaller support base and the loonies can't fully take over because the average person sees how bad they are. The only thing keeping the GOP alive is the big money supporters.

Once the big money starts to realize the GOP isn't giving them a good return on the investment, then it's gonna be lights out,

In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.

It's the climate we are in these days.

Pres. Obama could cure cancer tomorrow and FNC would still find something wrong with that.

The 2 ruling parties have divided our country. And it somehow...against all logic, keeps them in power election after election.

I was watching Bill Maher last night. Congress has only a 13% approval rating. BUT...they get a 90% RE-election number!

                                            WTF!?!?!?!

And that's because the American people ALWAYS vote for their "team". They don't give a fuck about anything else except making sure that their Dem or Repub candidate (depending on which "side" they are on) wins.

Fucking blind stupidity. And I read it everyday right here on GFY. It blows my mind.

Mark, he just gave you the numbers. Bush was very, very popular after 9-11. And people in the U.S. had almost no unemployment at all while he was Pres.

If he hadn't invaded Iraq (with the full support of the vast majority of Democrats in Congress and the Senate who all voted to invade), who knows how he would be viewed now?

He never was demonized by the general public until the housing market collapsed causing the banks to fail and the economy to collapse (which ironically was something he DIDN'T and couldn't do...Congress had the hand in all of that in the late 1990's)

Obama's approval ratings are pretty much tied with Bush for the 20th quarter. And unless something drastic happens to change the President's fortunes...he is gonna drop even further.

the guy is completely ignorant. Doesnt realise he's been brainwashed by the party politics sideshow. You can tell him again and again that it doesn't matter who's in office, the same agenda of big corporations will always be the course the puppet presidents will follow. Maybe it's too much to comprehend that what he believes in is all fake.

You can tell him again and again that it doesn't matter who's in office, the same agenda of big corporations will always be the course the puppet presidents will follow. Hey Shit head

I post mostly facts these days, I even try to find links to news sources that are not Fox because of limited people like you that can't fathom the idea that the idiot they elected might not be what they thought they were.

I can't help that you are a moron that has no grasp of the government that you have nothing to do with, I bet you were yelling at the TV yesterday during the superbowl, did it do any good?

I'm not the one brain washed. I watch several news outlets. I get news from different sources, I follow the polls and they all lead to the things I knew about any politician that will promise you the world with no intention or plan of ever pulling it off and no evidence of representing the people he serves.

Obama is suppose to serve the people, not the democratic party. Obama is finally realizing that he needs the house and senate, the GOP and the Democrats to work together. But it's too fucking late for him to get that done, so Obama is promising to sign more executive orders to get what "Obama" wants done, not the people Obama represents.

So fuck you if you don't like my point of view because it's different from yours , that is the mind set of a limited intelligence!

Leaving the economy with a surplus is what happens when the GOP and the Democrats work together. People were working, buying homes, investing in the future.

In fact it was under Bush's admin that some of the protest restrictions were brought on to us where it allowed the govt to set up "approved" protest zones which were usually a block or two away from where ever Bush happened to be.

It all comes down to what Bill Clinton told Bush Sr.: "It's the economy stupid".

And while Bush was President the economy was doing good and unemployment was as low as it can be. Which is why he didn't see his popularity among the general public fall much until the housing market crashed.

Yeah, I get it that you hated him vehemently from day one. You're just like the hard core Republicans who hate Obama

But the facts are the facts. I can't change history and neither can you.

Which is why he pivoted almost immediately to ObamaCare and then floundered a couple of months ago when ObamaCare came out the gate a disaster by trying to pivot to "Immigration Reform".

And while Bush was President the economy was doing good and unemployment was as low as it can be. Which is why he didn't see his popularity among the general public fall much until the housing market crashed.

Yeah, I get it that you hated him vehemently from day one. You're just like the hard core Republicans who hate Obama

Which is why he pivoted almost immediately to ObamaCare and then floundered a couple of months ago when ObamaCare came out the gate a disaster by trying to pivot to "Immigration Reform".

It ain't gonna work. The President's popularity will come roaring back IF the economy does. And today's huge drop in the stock market after bad reports from the auto industry on new car sales can't help.

President Obama's administration is crashing and burning because of the economy and he doesn't seem to know what to do about it.

As far as Bush goes...you have to remember that your extreme views don't represent the "general public".
If they did then MSNBC would be trouncing FNC in the ratings...instead of the other way around.
You do understand by the end of Bush's last term the economy had collapsed and he had signed off on bail outs.. The economy wasn't good under Bush he was just propping it up with loans from China and there was no economy to support the massive spending spree he was on.

You can't have two wars and no economic boom or extra tax revenue to cover the costs. Bush put it all on a credit card with the bank of China.. Every other war in history with the exception of the 91 Iraq war has required extra taxes to pay for it. Republicans however somehow think that we can start two wars and no one has to pay for it until a Democrat gets in office and can be blamed.
