Concept: TGP leasing with option to purchase?

Would this fly? We would lease you a TGP with x amount of traffic and y amount of galleries already archived, and you'll have the option to purchase the leased TGP after a certain period of time.

Just the first month payment would fine if paying monthly by credit card. I think!

The lessee. If the lessor owns the site (until the lessee purchase it), I don't see the point of renting it and at the same time running it. I could be wrong!

The lessee could always hire a manager to operate it for him/her?

For a no frill TGP with no hosting provided, I think 65USD/month per 10,000 of initial traffic/day and 10 good trades would be a minimum?

Right now I'm just researching if there is a market for such a service. The numbers haven't been fully tabulated yet nor the paperwork that would be involved.

I think that sounds pretty reasonable. If you go ahead with this, contact me at 8106140.

Also, I have a piece of software that may bundle very well with this.

Yes, basic scripts would be included (i.e. trading and galleries scripts) and if the lessee wants more scripts added, the monthly rent would go up accordingly.

I guest the best way to show the traffic quality is to let the potential client "test drive" the TGP for a very short period of time

I would certainly pay 65$/10K/day each month.... I would even pay up to 150$!

I was thinking the same thing!

My site doesn't get that much traffic in a month and I make allot more then $65.00 - people would have to be out of they're minds not to want a deal like that.

It would be interesting to hear how http://www.tgpheadstart.com/ is doing.

Regards
NastyJack

I think there's a little misunderstanding.

If I were to start such a service I would not guaranty say 50,000 hits per day for the duration of the leasing contract for $325/month. What I would do is lease you a site that is getting the 50,000 hits per day on the day the leasing agreement is signed (and maybe with a one month guaranty) and if you don't mess things up and manage it properly, it may continue to generate the 50,000 hits a day or rise.
