Mm. I think sites will just have to implement a unique tagging system/content archive process to get around any issues. This'll just target direct clone tube sites, methinks.

I got a contact at google that I became friends with and I asked him about this. And he said they are going after sponsor hosted FLVs and the sites that are just fronts and 301 redirect based on category select. So basically, the legal tube clips, etc.

Google wants high user experience, and what my friend @ Google said means basically full movies, where the user will be happy. So in a way google is encouraging piracy in this area because users are only happy if they get long videos FREE.

What I find interesting with Bing is that the porn results are amazing. It is like Google circa 2006. I think I will start posting notices to my surfers on my sites, twitter accounts, etc about switching to Bing and about how Google is making it harder to find good porn.

Google is a best example of such a site. It does not provide any unique content but shows us only the scrapped one from other sites. Especially if we are talking about pics and videos.

So let Google go and but itself first.

Google would argue that they provide a quality algorithm for sorting through content, and as such, have created a unique experience for the user that they cannot get elsewhere.

Also, this is all implicit on the concept that Google wants search engine traffic - I doubt very much it gets very many hits at all from search engines.

Same as all the good affiliate sites do. They do aggregate content from various sources, sort it by niches, tags etc. Allows one to do search, display the content by number views, rating, comments etc. So why such a site is worse than Google? The only different is because it uses the content provided by affiliate programs, while Google simple steal it from other sites without any permissions and display it as image TGP and tubes.

Google is a thief. PERIOD.

Google is unlikely to attack these sites with its audit.

i hope bing will become a serious competitor regards google but they don't index sites so quick as google does :(

Google is trying to give the customer what he or she wants.

Folks complain about "all the same sites showing up" but when G tries to fix this, the bitching follows.

And if one doesn't want to conform, you have the alternative of paying Google for advertising.

Exactly - their entire business model is based on scraped content.

It is time for them to die - with all the good they have done (and yes, they have done more good than any company could wish for), it is time for them to disappear from the face of the earth.

what i see is google offering some crappy info and fb spam, bing offering content, and it is possible to get into bings top results, because bing is not so spam friendly. bing ftw ... :2 cents:

True, we're pretty much page 2 for most of the keywords we care about on Bing. Just wish the traffic was there :)

BTW: If you're curious our Google traffic is 10x what Bings is right now.
