this is the last shoot i did im messing around with a new program to encode the videos the bigest and best HQ is this jumpy for you? choppy, etc... I cant tell on my damn computer all my movies are like this need new ram

if the movie don't load please tell me I used mpg2 to encode this it works for me but one person said it didnt for them

Loads fine but it is very choppy.

I'm running XP/I.E. 6.0 on a very fast DSL connection - Hope this helps.

Tom - we recently got the VX2000 to and we love it. Are you shooting in "progressive scan" or "normal mode"?

it does its the program I used to encode it even told it not to put the sound in there but it did anyways, so screw it I uninstalled it and will find something else thanks mate

Yeah - so are we. From what I understand progressive scan is the best way to go for shooting video for the web and getting good still captures. The trade-off is that if you wanted to burn it to a DVD/VHS for playback on a set-top player it looks kinda strange.

Tom, I have the Sony DCR TRV 900 E, and I've found that progrssive scan causes all sorts of problems, choppiness being the biggest of them.

About encoding: have you tried DivX? I prefer the compression/quality ratio as compared to Mpeg
