Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
Ah yes, my first car, I remember it well... a '74 Chevelle Malibu. Steel sky blue with deep dish chrome rims and dark blue furry seat covers that were just great for making out on. I put cargo coils on the back to give it that 'hopped up' look. lol

I have been thinking seriously about getting another 72 SS Chevelle. I miss that car. Had a built 454 in it (a few actually). Obviously you can get cars today that are much smoother and more sophisticated and with more power, better gas mileage etc. but I've never sat in a modern sports car or super car that had that amazing, deep rumble of raw, ground shaking power.

YEAH Man
Used to have a 70 242 my dad bought new when a was still 10 yo. Got it later in 80.
I was traveling recently and was laying in a hotel room watching the Discovery Channel i think... some retarded reality car show "Gas Monkey Garage" is what i remember about the name of their garage. But they had a challenge to find and build up a Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am. I never really cared for those cars. I don't like the look of the front ends. They are under powered. Slow. Poor handling. Bad gearing. After watching that show though and seeing them simple replace the suspension, tranny/gears and rebuild the engine, put some wider/larger wheels/tires, larger breaks etc... it made me kinda want one. It looked a lot sharper with wider and larger wheels and a slightly raked stance.

Hello Shtephan ! Well, To each ones their own tastes, Not a big fan of this one either, but hey... Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
This is true, about different taste. But whats more hurting here is that there is limited supply of old cars like that and damaging them is bad.. You need to preserve old schooler, not destroy it like that.

In most cases, most of the body and everything else for that matter, is not original and was fabricated from scratch. Or are reproduced parts I don't think it's a fair assumption to think that was a pristine car, owned by an old lady who only drove it in Sundays . It is more probable that it was a rusted out shell that was found in a field somewhere with little to nothing, being original.
Typically original cars are restored to original when possible as the value is infinitely greater once finished.

Absolutely love 60's and 70's muscle cars. Both aussie and american!
HK GTS Monaro all day and night for me is the top of the list. Love it. Old school carby powered cars have a special note that the EFI cars are not able to achieve.
Plus, drive an old school car with a few dollars spent on it's driveline and there is nothing like it. The entire car speaks to you, none of this electonic bs to control the car for you, real actual raw driving, nothing beats it or comes close. Hanging the ass out around a corner with no traction control, the roar fwark, gotta go for a drive!
TripleXPrint on Megan Fox "I would STILL suck her pussy until her face caved in. And then blow her up and do it again!"

This exactly. I have never seen a rat rod made from a car that was anywhere near museum quality. If there are original parts, they usually come off a car that was headed for the scrapyard. Or at least thats how it is here. We also just have a lot more rusted cars with winter and whatnot.
