Bullshit. They can see anything with xrays. And furthermore, they can DETECT bombs with scans. If the problem is a bomb going off...then why not just scan for any type of explosive device?
Technology is far more advanced than they are letting on.

And unless you blow the plane up with a bomb (which would be nullified by scanning for explosives)...the steel doors on the cockpit have eliminated any danger of the plane being brought down.

This is all about searching for drugs. How many bombs has the TSA caught so far since 2001? None.

And how many folks have had their wives tits groped, their young children groped, their granny groped, things stolen from their luggage, and their privacy invaded?

Is this really worth it? A dozen guys with box cutter? Come on!

And the reality is...if a guy wants to blow up a plane in mid air...they will find a way. Hell they could simply have a bomb inserted surgically and walk on the plane and blow it up.

Those security lines at airports don't make us one iota safer in my opinion. We didn't need them before 9-11. And now that the steel doors are in place AND federal air marshalls are on flights and armed...all that searching is as useless as the NSA tapping everybodies phones.

It's the govt. overstepping.
Just my opinion, but it sure would be nice to have an OPTIONAL airline that didn't have the b.s. airport security and operated like they did in the old days where they treated you like a valued customer.

Just keep the steel doors on the cockpit, scan the luggage for bombs...hell even have us all walk through a hallway that is scanning us every step of the way for any kind of explosive device.

Just don't force me to be searched and don't allow strangers to go through my luggage when I fly on a glorified bus with wings.

Eau de Parfum is same thing as Eau de toilette, just of stronger concentration. Both are available for men. Neither is less "manly" than another besides the latter being more common because it is cheaper due to lower concentration. And both are what you call "cologne" which is funny word for that anyway.

I had probably 10-15lbs of deep sea lead fishing weights confiscated at an airport in northern Australia. I was planning to do a lot of reef fishing but they didn't allow it on the plane.. although in this case I think it was because it was quite a lot and might have been to do with the size of the plane we were going on maybe?

When I left Vegas I didn't have to remove my shoes or take anything off. Was like the old days... Very strange, when I got to the queue they told me to drop my backpack on the belt and proceed through the scanner and keep moving. Seriously reminded me of pre 9/11. I didn't even have to remove my laptop from the bag.
