lol... I'm not a guitar player and no lefty... and I can ask at the show but I doubt ANYBODY would bring a guitar unless specifically asked to do so...

We tried renting one, but they don't rent out lefty guitars in Vegas...

One of the sucky things about being a left handed guitarist. Every time I walk into a music store,there are 500 guitars and 2 left handed guitars . Makes me want to go back in time and slap my first guitar teacher who made me play left handed. Lol

Keep in mind that the guitar bridge and nut are grooved for the size of the strings. That would be strike one against just doing that on the fly.

Strike two would be the intonation. And that probably wouldn't ever set up correctly because of the nut and bridge set up for the bigger gauge strings coming down to the lighter gauge strings.

In order to flip one upside down like that takes putting a new nut and bridge on it and then setting the whole guitar up to reflect that.

I'm pretty sure that Patrick doesn't have the time or inclination to do something like that at Internext.

Yeah its alot more then just changing the strings. That one probably had the nut recut or changed and the bridge changed and a hot shit Luthier/guitar tech set it all up. My first four years of playing I had just righty string reversed guitars and it suck the action was off and goodluck staying in tune.

the online guitar stores are not going to ship a guitar to a las vegas hotel if the billing addy isn't the same. especially an international credit card. + when they get those instruments returned, they go over them with a fine tooth comb, every bit of protective plastic and stickers and what-not has to be on them as well so they can resell them as new.

I am talking about going to the physical store to buy it then returning it when you are done. I've done this a few times but always end up keeping the guitar cause I always have room for one more.
