Yesterday I wrote an article saying that it is unusually cold in US and unusually warm in Europe, for esample even Northern Europe did not see much of the winter yet as temperatures were around 0, or even PLUS during whole December.

Was actually nice and warm here in Tampa yesterday, but it's been getting colder all day today. I think our high for today was early this morning...

Was 81 degrees yesterday at 5 pm, while I was listening to the Packers / 49ers game on the way to my daughter's house.

Forecast here in Niagara is -35C (including windchill) by tomorrow morning.

Minneapolis here, currently sitting at -18F. Low of -22 tonight, this morning was around -25. They're saying with windchill it was around -50F.

Here in Western, NC today it was about 12F, low forecast to be about 1 degree tonight. I'm in the mountains so that means sub zero at my house thermometer.

I have a great wood stove though and the house is a comfortable 74F right now... :)

Me and my wife bundled up and took a 2 mile walk in it today with the dogs...was actually quite pleasant with the proper gear on.

I heard that over the next 24 hours every state in the U.S. will be below zero at some point, including Hawaii.

I'm assuming they mean zero celcius.

Yesterday when I was running around middle of the day it was -5. Last night they were saying it was going to be -40 degree windchill. I do not know if it got that cold, but it's been off the hook the past few days with the windchills.

Got to about -4F last night. Woke up this morning with the kitchen sink pipes frozen....not even a dribble. Thin walls not enough insulation from outside temps I suppose, house never went below 60F last night.

We ran our electric blanket last night and were cozy as hell in bed....did not want to crawl out.
