We have an old group of sites/domains that we want to generate some income from mobile/cell phones.

We don't have time to mess much with it and looking for the easiest way to detect mobile traffic and send accordingly.

Probably something in .htaccess

Who do you recommend?

Be careful with those "easy" ways, Google is watching and you'll probably be de-indexed (Sneaky redirects).

Good point...it really depends on the GEO's of the mobile traffic you have.
You would most likely be better off working with a few mobile traffic solutions...it's best to speak with them all individually and see where each one has their strengths.

which mobile ad companies offer clicked (not redirect) mobile traffic? In other words have banners/widgets/pics/text links that show up on mobile sites and surfers click on them to be redirected rather than redirected by script.

good. Banners and text are the way to go. I wont touch mobile redirects with a 100 feet pole again after been deindexed by google.
