    How mucch should a mobile version of a dating website cost?

    Say you have a dating website and need a mobile version. The only functionality you need for mobile version is:
    1. Ability easily log in
    2. Ability for users to easily see if they have a message
    3. Ability to send and receive messages
    4. Ability to see who else is nearby
    5. Ability to search easily.

    And thats it.
    How much do you think a mobile version of that should cost?

    This is not a full app, just a mobile friendly version.
    I just want to know if the estimates I got are realistic

          So the mobile version works off the existing script, you just want a mobile skin of the existing site?

          Does the script use smarty or anything?

          Design and integration could run $500-$5k, integration with existing scripts is always horrible.

              totally depends on the coder

              if someone is experienced with and extremely fluent in php/mysql, and writes lines quickly and borderline effortlessly, that person would probably be more likely to give you a nicer deal than someone like me who gets by just fine, but finds everything php related to be a google-heavy research and development project rather than someone who just slaps it together like a boss

              in any case, good luck, and stay away from foreigners on freelancer

              not that foreigners are bad or bad coders, they just sometimes tend to not be on the same page as westerners on a variety of topics, design and functionality

                  I think you are forgetting a few things - such as the ability to edit the account, such as uploading pictures from their cell phone to their account.

                  Dating Factory has built in mobile sites, fully functional.
