    Decided to hit the club tonight for NYE

    Most people i know didn't seem sure what or where they wanted to go tonight. I think the full "Hogmanay" thing here isn't the same as it was a few years ago. I guess people are finally fed up with paying crazy prices for everything on which is just another night after all.

    All i know is that i wasn't in the mood for yet another house party after all of the Xmas festivities as i usually get bored of those pretty quickly, so i'd rather hit somewhere else instead.

    We've booked tickets for a club so hopefully it is pretty decent. I just hope we can get transport home ok.

      I am going to my local pub. They are doing tickets only but there only a few quid each, the manger there says he only does tickets so he can choose who to sell them to which helps keeps the dicks-heads away. Its walking distance from my home to so don't have to worry about the taxi home.

          Too much hassle going out on NYE. I am walking across the road to my neighbour who is having a few friends over.

              So far my best NY night was when i combined open bars plus private celebrations,if you stuck on single place it will end either tooboring,or after midnight too drank and wont know for yourself anymore.

                              If it wasn't for spending the past few days meeting with friends and family over the Xmas period, doing something like that would have suited me just fine.

                              As it is i just feel i need to get out of the house (and other peoples) for a while. Even though i know for a fact that i'm about to be ripped off silly by clubs, taxis etc.


                              I'll be glad when it's all over and i can get back to my normal routine to be honest...

                                  I hear that. I think I'm too old for clubs nowadays. Few beers with friends will suit me. But I hope you have fun and don't get too fleeced!

                                  Could you book a cab now for x'oclock and then just cancel /change it if you're not ready to leave by then?
