Never used Fiverr before, figured I'd give a shot, wanted somebody to do photo cutouts for me, the samples in this person's portfolio looked good, probably stole them from somewhere.

Look at how expert the hair masking is.

i did a search for 'remove background' and got a lot of results, checked a bunch out and this person's samples looked good - i suspect he stole the one that impressed me.

i went to freelancer.com and put up a project to do 10 cutouts - got 53 bids, about half did a sample cutout on a photo i gave them to work on - all of them except 2 sucked as bad as this one here.

and the other 2 weren't that good.

Hair masking is a very difficult skill, i saw a video of a brilliant mainstream photo retoucher masking hair on a difficult image shot outdoors - it took him two work days to do one image masterfully. Plugins are great but mastering a plugin's tools is almost as much work as mastering Photoshop's own native tools.

Yes, many of those freelancers, good only for very easy things, they are not professionals.

If it's that difficult , i guess you will find someone good, but not for 5$
