Depends on where it's bought. I can get mine patient to patient for $40/gram. At the dispensaries in Arizona, it's $70/gram for crumble and $80/gram for shatter.Comment

Yeah, I foresee the entire medical program going away in WA. The thing is there was never really a program, just a note from a doc got you cleared to have weed. It was loopholes that collectives started operating under. The state of WA has pretty much told collectives they have until January 2015 to get licensed as a recreational store or they have to close up shop. One store we spoke to runs recreational and medical and he said that the main consensus up there is that medical will be gone by this time next year.Comment

Yeah I've heard similar things. The big sticking point is the price difference between medical and recreational. $200 quarters at recreational stores is NUTS.
Honestly I don't expect the medical area to be going away any time soon. Far too many people in the system and the price differential will just feed the black market if med is stopped.
The state will squeeze the places prescribing and make it more stringent of a process first. IMOComment

It'll definitely be interesting to see how they handle it. I've seen $790 ounces in WA and about shat myself.
Colorado definitely beat Washington in how to setup a proper recreational program, but since they had an existing medical program with dispensaries it was a much easier transition.Comment

Washington I think is going to realize that they should just incorporate the med into the rec like Colorado since there are so many supply issues, but remains to be seen.
Prices will quickly drop once the producers get more product into the pipeline obviously.

There is no incorporating though - Washington never really had a medical program. They would get notes from their doc which allowed them to carry weed and not get in trouble. Then all these collectives starting popping up based on a loophole that was then closed but certain cities in WA turn their head whereas other cities they aren't legal. No collectives are suppose to operate a storefront, hence why a few up near Vancouver were raided.
So they never had a state wide system that tracked seed to sale, never had a card program, nada. Denver did - so they were able to utilize the system in place for medical as well when CO opened up they had a one time grant to take the mmj and sell it for recreational.
Washington had to setup an entire system and had no cultivation in place ... along with the taxes, the program is just setup poorly. Now, if WA would allow a tax break or no taxes to those who hold medical "cards" then they'd be golden.Comment

Yeah, I hear you, but I am talking about getting that straightened out by acknowledging that the current medical "access points" are better suited to be brought over to the rec.

No. PG is no bueno. Much safer PEG, and only in the minimum amount necessary for it to wick properly. All the original terpenes, no fake ones added to compensate after over processing.
