If you have a good idea and can find a good location a food truck could be a good investment.

I don't care what you do so long as it isn't competition.
![]() Perhaps think of a new type of porn. A new way of enjoying adult entertainment. That kinda cash would go a long way if you had an innovative idea. That or just create 2,500 blogs. ![]() |

The only reason anyone would think blogs are "dead" is if their own blogs have died or they have no idea what they are doing with blogs. |

Lots of solid ways to make solid cash on blogs. Especially scaled methods.

Start a blog/ free magazine in any niche topic (Golf, sports cars, mobile gaming, tablet computing, womens fashion, finance& Credit cards (Thats a GOOD one)) and use the money to hire writers for small short posts/articles. Dont do long articles yet until you have a bigger following. Be fast not long.
Thats enough money to give you a ton of content for 6 months. Repost everything on facebook and twitter. After 6 months you should have a little traction and following, Then go to big companies and ask them to advertise on your blog. I did that once, I would do it again but I want to partner with someone this time and not do it alone. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Seriously, is it even worth that now?? Maybe 5k, however, the GFY.Com domain would probably be worth 20k just for that alone and scrap the board use it for a mainstream social site. Good mobile typein and everything is mobile now. |

Selling software is as tough as they come. Go find the most awesome software out there that has an affiliate program and start selling, let me know when you start making some decent money consistently. Not saying it's not possible, but it sure is tough.

Affiliate programs - think what you like and start promote some relevant products.
Create a blog - promote products and maybe add some google adsense ads. This way split test earnings from 2 channels |

Tube sites I guess. Only thing that goes. And you don't need 20k for that. Hire designer and maybe a programmer.....that's it

I'm talking about starting your own and selling it. You don't even need to have a really great idea, just find something and make it better. A friend of mine created a product search app for phones. Cost him a few thousand in development and just sold it this summer for six figures. I started a SaaS extension of my company back earlier this year. Took a bit to get the product ready for market, but basically sells itself, along with a healthy recurring revenue stream. Starting a business doesn't mean selling someone else's products. I've got a meeting today at 2pm to finalize the investment into a shopping/service mobile app. I don't program, but I know who can, even more so, I know how to make things people want, and market to them ![]()

Start selling someone else?s software just to see "how easy is to sell software" - how hard can that be to understand? Or would you prefer to spend months on building a software just to find out that you have no way to market it properly. Just like - before you launch your own affiliate program, how about you become an affiliate and learn the business. Does that make sense, yes, no, maybe? Glad you have the skills to market your software since this is the most difficult part; you can find out what people want with some very basic (or extensive if you have the money) research, there's surely no shortage of developers, but selling your product is the hardest part. And behind every "my friend sold his app for $10 million bucks" or "my cousin started this Facebook thing and became a billionaire" story, there are thousands and thousands of software products that don't sell for shit. Yet, somehow people tend to overlook that. |
