    Most overused word for 2013-2014 will be .......


    OUTLIER

    Congrats, you learned a new word that you believe will make you sound smart, now use it in every other sentence just to make sure nobody missed it.

          I think it is good for society. Most people have no clue about statistics and will use outliers and anecdotal data to try and prove any point.

                          i refuse to use trendy words, you only have to listen to dumb sports and news broadcasters to catch when a new 'smart' word has reached trendy/overused status.

                          my next overused trendy word/phrase is 'have a conversation' as in 'the country needs to have a conversation about (insert important issue here)' 'we need to have a conversation about gun control' 'we need to have a conversation about head injuries in football'
