UPDATE
Just tried the McDee's new poutine fries - and in a word...disgusting.
For starters, the cardboard carton they come in was only half full (about the amount of a small fry). The grease-soggy fries were lukewarm - gravy (sic) wasn't hot enough to melt any of the cheese curds.
And well...I'm confident I'll be shartin' out the gravy in another half hour or so.
To top it all off - as usual...the counter girl completely fucked up our order (wrong burgers, wrong drinks). But that's typical for our local McDees. It's a running joke with the wife and I.
My wife's description of their poutine fries - "Absolute ca-ca."

Actually, I've *never* had a problem with McDonalds. Sure its fast food, but they always get my order right. It's always hot and served fast. In drive-thru's they've never got the order wrong nor even forgot the all-important straw or napkins. The service is always given with a smile, and every restaurant has been super-clean - even the bathrooms - which is more than I can say for other places I've seen. They actually do a fantastic job when it comes to customer service & satisfaction.Comment

It generally comes down to management. If the place has a poor manager, it's reflected in the staff.

We don't. In fact, the manager was also behind the counter earlier this evening while the girl fouled up the order. He didn't bat an eye or attempt to step in and offer apology or anything. Typical.
As predicted, the poutine gravy cleaned me out.
CurrentlySober would've been proud.
