    PS4 or XBox1?..

    Believe it or not I haven't had a games console since a Sega back in the 80/90's.....

    I think I will treat myself for Xmas - What one should I go for?..

    The extra functionality above gaming is most important really - It needs to replace a lot of the other crap that has built up under the TV.....

      By the sounds of it you probably want X-Box to be honest.

      I'm sticking with Playstation.

      And people shouldn't forget Microsoft wanted to fuck over everyone with this console before the backlash.

      I'm waiting a few months though till all the certain problems get sorted out...

          You want Xbox One. It looks like that besides it being a great gaming console, it acts as your media centre too. Go to youtube and search for xbox one and you'll find alot of stuff on it including some cool demos.

              I haven't paid too much attention to the new consoles, but it's hard to forget Microsoft's initial plans for the console. Always online requirement, their stance on preowned/tradein games, etc. If I wanted a new console I would be going with the PS4.

              Scott makes a good point about waiting though. I think both consoles have had some launch issues. Consoles buggy or not working + that kind of stuff. He's also correct in that the xbox probably fits into your needs better. It can replace your cable box among other random features (personally I'm not interested in much of that.)

                                                                      Im gonna get the PS4 for gaming, but I'm gonna wait till the bugs get ironed out. No hurry. I barley platt the PS3 that I bought a year ago. It seems to work fine.


                                                                      My girlfriend who I live with, won the new Xbox on the AMPM slurpy scratchers game. Its getting sent to us in December.


                                                                      I like to think, I'm a gammer, but in all reality i work way to much to ever find time. I have about 20 PS3 games still in the wrapper and 40+ Xbox games still in the wrapper.


                                                                      The fun thing for me is buying them and thinking that I will have the time to play them. lol

                                                                                                                              I have a PS4 all wrapped and sitting under my Christmas tree, my wife won't let me use it before then. I have to admit the media center aspect of the Xbox 1 seems pretty amazing, when the price comes down I may even pick one up just for that but as far as gaming goes, PS4 all the way.

                                                                                                                                          This is exactly why I'm staying away from the Xbox One. I did not forget the bullshit they tried to pull, before launch. I was pretty upset about that....still am. Fuck an Xbox. PS4, over here.

                                                                                                                                                  Battlefield 4 is the buggiest game I have ever seen. That is the fault of EA from what I can tell and not Sony's.

                                                                                                                                                  I'm not much of a gamer but I was really really disappointed with BattleField 4. Hopefully their other games are better. I wish I never would have opened it.
