Minte has always struck me as a pretty charitable sort. His posts about his cars and lifestyle etc have always struck me as done more for motivational purposes than flaunting or bragging. 'Work smart and this is what can be achieved' kind of thing.
So singling him out like this is pretty low. Myself, I'm nowhere near Minte's income bracket but I've regularly sent donations to the Red Cross Disaster Relief. Here's the link for any of you other charitable types who want to you know.... donate: https://secure.redcross.ca/registran...Y7M god02YAdw |
Is this because Minte is black an Asian mix?? Adendreams are you racist?

But yes, please bring a hard drive of your porn to Thailand. Lets meet. :winkwink: Honesty man, I don't have a problem with you, but please get off your high horse. We're all in the same business, there is no reason to act holier than everyone else. People will spend their money how they choose, that's not for you to decide. You're going to have a horrible humanitarian project the way you're trying to shove your thoughts down everyone's throats. The concept of voluntary help, is that it's voluntary. |
This thread should go to the vault "worst attempt of attack thread ever" .....Aden clearly missed the mark and his rebuttal failed to help any chance of reconcile.......thick as fuck this one!
Shakin head in disbelief, unreal! |

I'd like to see the snowboard and snowboarding trip auctioned off on eBay, and the proceeds donated to the victims.

It would be nice to see adendreams..
not go on his snowboarding and surfing trips and donate to help the victims of the PI disaster. He has profited from these people greatly in the past and now he cares little for there well-being. How can he enjoy himself with hobbies while these poor people suffer.
ADENDREAMS DOES NOT CARE! |
a lot of talk in this thread... sadly not much action

I will say that like adendreams, this guy is likewise adept at saying things that are hypocritical on purpose to get everyone worked up into an even greater frenzy. It's one thing to be a online bully or an attention whore. It is quite another to live in a fantasy world where you can accomplish great things through the act of trolling. Even to the point that being a blatant hypocrit somehow in your mind works to your advantage. |

I'm not going to read any of this junk but I'd like to say, overall, it'd be nice if more people in America helped other Americans, for fuck sakes. If everyone lived the way that I have- since I was twelve years the fuck old- NO ONE would need ANYTHING here in America. We can pour billions and billions into everywhere but HERE, it seems. Well people are hungry, here. People are abused, here. People are in danger, here. RIGHT THE FUCK HERE. What is the FIRST country rushing aid to anywhere or everywhere anything ever happens? The USA. How many countries come to help us when we have a disaster or something?
I can see helping Canada since they help us. I can see working with countries like the Netherlands because they seem to want to do business with us (from what I have seen from the adult program owners there) Anyway the whole point is- wealthy white people in America are going to do what the fuck they want and trying to whine about what they are or are not doing isn't going to get you anywhere. It's stacked up pretty heavy at the top in terms of wealth distribution. Short of an outright revolution- it's NOT going to change- and this is not about repubs vs. dems, no, it is about haves vs. have nots. Not only that but the havenots are too god damned stupid these days- if they HAD a chance or HAD any rights left or HAD any real money power, they would destroy themselves anyway. They're almost better off being owned at this point. So just let it the fuck go. Besides- as stacked as it is, you can STILL make it in this country if you WANT it BADLY ENOUGH. It ain't going to be EASY if you don't know the right people, but you CAN STILL do it. [/rant] |
I don't have numbers in front of me, but I'd wager that overall,,Americans donate to Americans in need by a large margin over what get sent to disasters around the world.
I know we do. We have a budget in our company for local charity. It's a long list. Some of the things we support are only for a few hundred dollars. Others are more. It's always easy to rip on business. But when the food pantry is broke. Who steps up and funds it? A child went missing in Milwaukee. A local bank put up the money for a reward. In my community the city purchased some vacant land on the lake. They decided it would be a nice green space. Who came up with the money to build a playground for the kids. My company and a local hospital partnered and did the whole project. I don't know a single business owner in my group that doesn't support many things. When there is a disaster around the world, we just dig a little deeper. Just like most Americans do. Some banks and business have done bad things ,but more of them do a lot of good things for the community. |

The "aid" you do give is actually bribe..."US Aid" in my country for example built a road to a local politicians moms hose in the mountains :1orglaugh I have nothing against americans I really dont, just dont claim your country helps anybody...its ridiculous... |

maybe you, as an individual, really send trucks to haiti with food...good for you, it must be a great feeling to be able to help so many people...but your country is not in the business of giving aid...I hate it when americans say "our country gives so much to others" this is complete bullshit... |
i always feel a little sad when i read cruc's comments. such a sad view of the world.

Crucifissio has had that thrown at him before. By me as well as others. He will now conveniently deflect and deny his way around all that and lob a volley of misinformed skewed slanted misquided retoric back your way to prove how evil your evil evil country is. I won't go so far as to say that all Serbs are of that ilk, but he's certainly doing his nationality no favors here. |

you make it sound like people beg you to come and bomb them :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh but you show some good ol american logic "all it takes is ONE saddam husein" to give reason to the US war machine to punish millions upon millions of people for the actions of a handful and some non existent WMD man what a desperate argument on your side :1orglaugh also pulling the "serb" argument against a refugee is hilarious... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Refugee double refugee may I add, you bombed serbia in 99 and I had to run again to fucking russia LOL |

Without giving to much away, recently a division of the federal government approached us to purchase a product we make. Non-military hardware so we bit. Had all the testing done went through the mountain of paperwork to be a tier one supplier. Then waited. After a month our sales manager called the man that he was dealing with. The man was terribly embarrassed. It seems that congress mandated to this department that the product we hope to sell them was not funded. So the law says they have to do this but they don't have any money to pay for it. Right now, just the cost of the testing data we were required to submit was well into 5 figures. I haven't asked, because I really don't want to know. But it would not shock me if with travel ,engineering, packaging, administration costs that we could be into this for 6 figures. |

Yea, my mother had a temp agency in the late 90s and on.. She was classified as a minority business due to it being woman owned.. We used to do a shitload of govt contracts and you were lucky if you got paid in 90 to 120 days.. Meanwhile we would have to pay all their salaries. We weren't talking just labor type jobs as we had everything from engineers to pharmacist. Was insane how long they could drag their feet before they paid.. |

A refugee is a person who is outside his or her country of origin or habitual residence because they have suffered (or fear) persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or because they are a member of a persecuted 'social group' or because they are fleeing a war. Local businesses have ties to a community and do a lot of good. Massive international conglomerates that push paper rather than producing a product are largely absentee. Chase Bank will pay more in fines for scamming the public this year than they will donate to any worthy cause. Minte owns a company that appears to be a throwback to an earlier era, like what Hershey did for part of Pennsylvania back in the day. Acting like he is the problem is silly. Acting like his company is typical of what post-national conglomerates do for the world is also silly. Walmart, Chase, AIG, Goldman Sachs and that group have zero interest in assisting anyone in need, and zero in common with the philosophy Minte apparently follows.
We ought to have regulations ready to curb the abuse of post-nationals AND congratulations ready for businesses that actually do step up to improve their community locally or provide for needy members of society abroad. |
