Amazing experience none the less......

Hi Dead,

What's the title of the book that you're referring to?

Penny24Seven 11-29-2013 01:03 PM

so you use the "I treat the girls better and pay them well" excuse to sleep better at night and you took some drugs and thought in a different way and now you are smarter then most. Reality will suck when it comes back

_Richard_ 11-29-2013 01:09 PM

sounds exactly the same as Ecstasy, but includes vomiting and diarrhea

Donny 11-29-2013 01:17 PM

Steve Jobs would probably approve.

I've always tried to treat people well. Doesn't matter whether it's porn-related or not.
And nowhere did I say I'm smarter than most. For as long as I can remember, I measure myself against myself, not others. I'm sorry you are too angry to see that.

I've tried Ecstacy a handful of times many years ago. I thought it was great, but nothing compared to this. And the purging is a big part of the process - the Shaman said for him the purging was the the most important part.

I have to agree...while I have certainly had profound experiences while experimenting with psychoactive substances such as acid and mushrooms I would say that the experiences have given me insight into my place in the universe. There are few times in life that your actual sense of self is dissolved and you become "one with the universe" which is very cliche but certainly accurate. :thumbsup

Mind expanding indeed - however, I would remind you that you are still a living creature at this moment and an animal who evolved on this physical planet. You should not forget that and embrace your physical body (because after all it will be used up and gone soon enough). You should also not bring away very many moral solutions from this newly found knowledge.

Glad you had a positive experience and feel motivated to share it with others.

I agree with everything you said - and didn't post anything that would suggest otherwise (at least not to me).

Very true about "embracing your physical body". I was on a special diet two weeks prior to the ceremony, and except for some over-indulging on Thanksgiving, I've continued the restrictions and feel physically great. Although I do miss spicy foods.

Second anim is took from the best movie ever made, The Holy Mountain ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071615/ )

Holy Mountain is the best movie trip I have ever taken. Big fan of all Jodorowsky but that one in particular. I used to make all new hires watch it.

The food part of the diet is suggested in the sense that eating items on the list can have an adverse effect on whether the Yaje or Ayahuasca is effective. In my case it was so strong I can't imagine having a chili cheese dog beforehand would have effected it either way - but I'm glad I stuck to the dietary restrictions.

What is really "restricted" is the use of any anti-depressants or sleeping pills beforehand. They recommended an abstention of at least a week. I've seen a physician's recommendation of 5 weeks if you are taking Prozac on a YouTube video. You can have a bad reaction up to death when you bring an SSRi or MAOi into the mix. I don't take any of these, so one less thing to worry about.

Everyone signed a waiver saying they hadn't taken any SSRis or MAOis in the past 7 days. The waiver also stated you couldn't leave once the ceremony started and that you shouldn't drive for 24 hours afterwards. Of course, this was in the US. You're probably not signing any waivers in the Amazon.

Sorry I missed this, was just looking at the Control Panel (and noticed PM's are back on ;) and saw RandyRandy ask the same question.....

http://www.amazon.com/The-Psychedeli...pr_product_top

Amazing read for the simple insite of what a mind and body may and should experience when the person is ready to let go.

I personally found this book After reading the real manuals, and it summed it up nicely!

Here's to enlightened travels :thumbsup

Something sort of funny about choosing your Shaman online, lol

Sounds like an experience for sure!
