In their defense, it looks like a hit piece to me. The girl clearly gave a fake ID but what is problematic is that it isnt an isolated case. the story references several other under aged performers whose families have been paid off to shut up.

Just a guess, but it looks like they may be paying the girls cash, or paying the recruiters to pay the girls? If they paid by check, it'd be hard to cash a check in a name that is not yours. The fallback being if they had totally faked IDs with their own name on it, but that's harder to fake then just getting a different person's ID. If BangBros is reading, you should immediately instruct your team to only issue checks in the names that are on the IDs, if you aren't currently doing so, at least for these random recruiters.

Between writing a check to the name on the ID + getting an ID scanner, things like this may not happen.

Connections between RK and BB go way back.

In 2009, Reality Kings brought their exclusive online content (along with Bang Bros content) to satellite television with Reality Kings TV (RKTV). The channel is available on DirecTV and Dish Network, and through video on demand.

A merger notification (between Reality Kings and Manwin) was filed with the Austrian Federal Competition Authority in April 2012. In September 2012, Manwin completed the acquisition.

There had been previous chatter about BangBros and RK merging, and getting wrapped up in the RK-Manwin deal, so my bad about that one if I got that wrong (although what has been going on with regards to Mansef/Manwin/MindGeek has hardly been transparent).

I've paid by check for this exact reason for years. In fact, I think I've paid cash only 3 times. Any time I see a recruiting ad that says they pay cash on the spot, it sends up a red flag.

This is true but you would be surprised how lax some are.

True story: a girl came in to shoot for us and the ID she tried to use was fake. How did we know? The back said in big bold letters "FOR NOVELTY USE ONLY."

She obviously wasn't shot and the shoot was canceled. She didn't understand what the problem was since the ID she tried to use was good enough for 'blah blah' porn company, with whom she already shot several scenes with.

Now mind you, 'blah blah' porn company is a huge outfit. Pretty shocking how they couldn't even be bothered to look at the back of the ID.

Most fake IDs can be caught, the ones that are hard are the girls who use friends/ family members information (address, DOB etc.) to obtain an ID with their picture. But if you're smart and know the right questions to ask, you can trip them up.
