    Scary: Chef killed by severed snake head

    A snake came back from the dead to deliver a deadly bite to a chef, 20 minutes after he had chopped its head off.

    The chef was preparing a dish from cobra flesh when the snake?s head bit him, reports The Mirror.

    Victim Peng Fan had chopped off the head of the Indochinese spitting cobra, a rare delicacy in Asia, to prepare for making the special dish.

    But when he went to throw the severed snake head into the bin it bit him on the hand, injecting him with fast-acting, deadly venom.

      The only surprise here is that someone that deal with cooking cobras wouldn't know that this was a possibility.

          My uncle told me once about going through basic in Louisiana during ww2. Soldiers had to crawl under wire for 50 yards with live fire going over the top. His job was to check for snakes beforehand. One day he found one, a diamond back and cut off its head as usual with a shovel. He was showing it to a friend when a recruit walked up and reached out with his hand. Before my uncle could pull it away, the head lept off the shovel and bit the kid in the hand. Snakes is some scary varmints.
