    Why I hate fantasy football

Seems that each week, I either have an amazing team, or half my players get fucking injured and out for the rest of the game.

I only needed 5.3 points to win this week, so having Lamar James (TB RB) seemed like a sure win, considering some of my other players didn't do so well. First drive, he carries for 40 some yards, then mere INCHES from the goal line -- oh wait, he's INJURED!

In my league, this isn't possible, but anyone else play in one where you can have a "backup" player? So for instance, you have 2 RB's, 3 WR's, 1 TE, 1 QB, 1 K and 1 DE... what about having a backup for those positions? The one league I'm in, the guy doesn't have flex positions, so if you don't have a solid week, you suck.

    Your league sucks!

In my league I play with 1Qb 2Rb 2Flex 3WR 2TE 1D/St 1K with 10 spots on the bench, This sucks too, its way to many fucking players!

The solution? Bitch at the guy in charge of the league for a whole year until he finally caves in and you can have it your way!

BTW I have the same thing every week too, complete shit or solid gold, no in between

      no one is ever happy

Problem is there are only so many "good players" in the league, then you get some asshat, like this guy in our league, who hordes all the RBs and uses them as bait for trades.

I played in a league years ago, was an invite from a friend. as shitty as it sounded, you got NO benches, only active players, but you had 1 any position flex and 2 RB/WE/TE flex spots.

it was fun, and you would score upwards of 200 points a game, but nice thing was if you had one shitty player that week, your whole team didn't suffer

        I feel your pain.

I can beat almost any good team week to week. But the majority of my losses in all three leagues have come against the cellar dwellers. The reason I have lost most of those games are, as you said, injuries. McFadden, Locker, Martin, and so forth.

Never heard of having a backup player that can be inserted for a injured player since unless you have Redzone you likely aren't watching all the games.

Flex doesn't swap a player out it just means you can choose WR/RB/TE for the flex if they get hurt on the 1st drive you are screwed as well.

I'm having a tough season. I drafted Ray Rice and Steven Jackson as my first two picks, and we all know how their season is going. I've also not had a single week without at least one player leaving in the middle of a game with an injury. Russell Wilson has been my only saving grace that I count on for guaranteed points from week to week.

I don't play fantasy football, or know much about it, but I'm guessing you might do well to add this man to your team:
