Bitcoin storage service shortchanged $1.2 million by hackers

    PASSWORD CRACKING; SOFTWARE VULNERABILITY
Inputs.io -- which touted itself as the most secure online wallet for the virtual crypto-currency -- admitted that attackers broke into the service twice, pocketing 4,100 bitcoin.

The hackers got into the host account by compromising old email accounts that were easy to reset. And, because of a software bug, they were able to sidestep two-factor authentication.

The company appears to have launched in May 2013, with its domain btc-glb.com registered on 9th May and a post later that month by Bitcoin Talk forum user zhaoxianpeng promoting the site.

Some mainlanders went to the IFC office listed on its website, but this turned out to be a false address.
Bitstamp is exactly the same, fake address in the UK, WHOIS Domain privacy etc

Slovenian based company, third largest Bitcoin exchange.

Like most things Bitcoin related, dodgy dodgy dodgy!
