I don't really know how to feel about all the research you do on me. You find things I've posted both within threads started by others and in threads I started myself. The things you find take time and dedication, which is why I'm convinced you have some deeper question you're really asking. I've been in the same place myself, and later realized my questions had to do with God, and I projected them onto Christians I knew.
I've made peace with many of the anti-God comments I've made in the past. There are answers to the questions I had and there are answers to yours as well.
Yes, ADG, there are hypocrites who claim to believe in God. Whether or not I'm one of them from your point of view has nothing to do with YOU and God, however. You've got to separate God from those who claim to follow or represent him. Should a person make judgment calls about YOU based on the behavior of your fans? Of course not. My opinions of you should be based only on your own merits. And since I am not around you each day, I can't really make any sort of judgment about you as a person at all, but only about you as a board character. The same concept applies to your judgment of me based on what you've read online or heard from others, or of opinions you form about God based on people you know who claim to be Christian.
I'd like to point out that your hard on for me is based almost entirely on what you have read online. That's not a very intelligent way to judge someone. You're above that. We don't live far apart. Let's meet for coffee. I love taking trips to the bay. I'll come over this week and sit and BS with you for as long as you have the time. I'm a major introvert so I don't particularly enjoy large groups, but I love conversation with individuals if it's interesting.
