How do you make money not being an affiliate?

I mean, what other method do you know other than sending traffic to websites for a commission?

I don't want traffic selling or other stuff that pays cents, neither dating sites. I want other ways, more sophisticated, to make money.

Of course I am talking about an hypothetical site with high quality legal content, with traffic focused on the niche.

It needs to take a focus different to promote affiliates.

What options are there?

Find what you're best at and sell it as a service for other webmasters/programs..

You can always take the approach of setting up non-exclusive sites with 10 vids on each and then just purchase cross sales. Never even have to update sites.

I though that too, but it has been very difficult for me to convert webcams, I have tried a lot of things and the results were not good enough.

And referring subscription sites converts better, at least for me, but the earnings are not enough for my needs.

It is the same with any niche.

Back in 2004 you could have built a crappy tgp centered around teens and make decent money from it. Rinse, repeat and build a small empire with a good return. These days you have to target something very niche like futanari porn. You can still make a killing because tubes are not filled with it.

There are more than a few individual pay sites out there doing well over 1,000 joins a day. If you can master marketing or produce high quality unique content (or both) there are plenty of people out there willing to put their credit cards in.
