    Have you gotten any new toys lately?

    I got a Roku 3 a few weeks back, really cool. Yesterday I canceled my cable partially because of it, will pay for itself very quickly.

    Any new toys? Anything coming out that you want?

    Work toys are fine, those can be a lot of fun as well.

              Tomorrow, grabbing two iPad Airs. Got a pair of iPhone 5's the other day. About $2k worth of Arduino parts a couple of weeks ago. Last month, home theater speakers for the ceiling, GTA5, and a four-wheeler. You're making me want more toys ... any suggestions?

                      Yes, two Parrot AR's (the quad rotors) and yes, one in each of my cars, one for my wakeboard/snowboard, and one extra. Building another drone now, to patrol the property (just as a goof, not for functional use) -- adding weather-checking (don't fly in the rain) and other silly mods.

                                      Within the past week I got an iPhone 5S, some auxiliary lights for my Harley, Battlefield 4, and a cool LG Tone+ bluetooth headset for when I'm riding my bike, motorcycle, or doing other things.

                                                              Finally purchased Adobe After Effects CS 6 and I'm having a blast with our new trailers as I'm learning the program.

                                                              Also...I own an obsolete Roland VS 2480 digital studio. It has slots for the obsolete VS8F-3 cards which allow the handful of obsolete third party effect plugins to be used with the unit.

                                                              Once the plugin is installed it "keys" to that card and can't be installed with any other.
                                                              And of course both cards and plugins are obsolete and no longer made.

                                                              I already had one "3 card"...but no third party effects (it comes with a Roland bundle).

                                                              So last week I bought a "3 card" that came with every third party plug in that was ever made all keyed to it.

                                                              And this week I picked up another "3 card" (you can only use a couple of plugins per card at a time).

                                                              So to bring this long wall of text to a close..I now have three "3 cards" and every plugin made for the Roland VS 2480 and I'm having a blast recording music.

                                                              And right now I'm working on the music video (using Adobe After Effects along with Premiere Pro) for the song we finished a few weeks ago "Milked" http://tptrash.com/milked.mp3

                                                                      Yes, I'm using mine with Netflix, Spotify, and Plex. They have hundreds of apps though. I will probably get another one for my bedroom within the next month or so.

                                                                                          Either Gibson LPJ in Red or an Epi LP PlusTop Pro Limited in Desert Burst. Prolly a Valveking 20w head and cheaper marshal 4x12. Then in spring, will get a more portable amp,, prolly marshal 1w combo or the 5w SL5 marshal and pickup the Gibson SGJ or LTD model I found.. not sure.

                                                                                                                                  Ended up buying the predicted two iPad airs this morning, and (ugh) bought the wife a Mercedes this afternoon. I wanted the S600, she wanted the CLK .. guess who won? I'll be damned if I'm caught behind the wheel of that chick car. Plus, insurance went way up .. she wanted it in the ugliest red I've ever seen.

I say 'my first' because I plan on buying several more of these. It basically turns any HDMI source into a smart tv. More and more apps will come out but I am satisfied with the ability to use netflix, hulu, pandora and stream from a chrome browser for now. Can't think of anything else that I would really use while sitting my ass on the couch.

New juicer, blender, espresso machine, mixer, knives, cookware, butcher block, vacuum cleaners, tv, home theatre, plus furniture. I guess the coolest thing is the Neato robotic vacuum.

                                                                                                                                                                              Ps4 game offerings for launch day is pretty much crap if you don't do fps or sports. After watch dogs and drive club got delayed I just settled for new assassins creed. Granted that came out for current consoles day ago so that alone makes it pretty underwhelming
