Seriously...

That is real talk but it can define insanity, too, you know?

By the way, congrats on getting charged with something else. was it another DUI? Lovely.

I did real well for myself as a child. While you were still playing with yourself and learning how to talk I was out making deals, man. I don't puff myself up- I have learned that we're all human and we learn every day.

I have never put anyone in any danger out on the road and I have avoided accidents most people couldn't have. Me being charged with DUI is foolishness. Every time I ever got drunk anywhere, my car stayed in the lot and I walked or poured myself into a cab. I have taken responsibility for putting myself in stupid situations and am dealing with the consequences of doing so.

You are making a mountain out of a mole hill. You need financial investment? You go to a job or project for someone to make the extra cash so you have the cash to make your investment. Businesses are built from the ground up doing this. It's very simple. But it takes work. True hustle.

HerbKornfield just shared his hustle story. Ask him how he got started. Ask him where he got the initial cash to build his business. Ask him how he got additional cash to scale his business. Hard work, contacts, hard work, contacts, hard work contacts.

It's extremely simple. Work.

I just flipped a motorcycle from Craigslist. I know a mechanic. He did the work, he gets 35%. I will almost double my money. Now I'll do it again. And again. And again. For a Craigslist guy like yourself, doing it for as long as you have, you should already have a bankroll. You need to be asking yourself why you don't. The answer is most likely: laziness.

What do you think I have been doing lately? Playing with myself? Many times I have been awake for over 48 hours in the past 2-3 months. I even took desktops I did not want to fuck with, I hate them, but I spent many nights up all night working on them all and then driving an hour away that morning to a place where I could get them sold. Etc. I am not lazy simply because I don't like to be employed.

What kind of split is 35%? Are you two a little fruity or what?
Just giving you the business, haha, relax

PS: What ever happened to ScreaM --- I love that guy -- even though I can't stand most internet forum trolls

No I had desktops everywhere.. ended up with 5 or 6 flat panels and 20 or so desktops and had just about zero in any of the machines and an average of $9 each in the flat panels

So I made a total of five or six working desktops out of it all and sold parts out of the rest of them and sold some as cases or parts machines

Sold the desktops for $75 to $200 each
Some I sold as just desktops no monitor some monitors I sold seperately

MrMaxwell 10-30-2013 11:29 AM

Everyone is telling me oh go get a job, great, when would I ever do anything else.. and my op was about days like today... I have $6 left, I want to get out and do something.... No buying money.. I was trying to get some free junk but genius won't let me use his truck. That is annoying, I made him an extremely stupid good deal on that truck. I need a truck right now. Grr.

MrMaxwell 10-30-2013 11:41 AM

Oh well, anyway, right now I am a little late getting some slavery done- so I guess I will see if I can go and do that so I will at least be doing something.

420 10-30-2013 11:49 AM

Maybe you should steal a goodwill truck. Instant inventory and 100% profit. Or you could hustle me some fries?

Mindwaste, is that you buddy? I got an easier method for you. Go downtown and beat up a panhandler for his change cup.

push nickels and dimes

crockett 10-30-2013 12:52 PM

You have to have a place to do it, but I used to make pretty good money buying and selling cars.. You said ur ex in Orlando so I assume you are central Fl somewhere.. FL sucks ass for jobs unless you are in the medical profession or a engineer. Lots of work far as high tech shit, but if you aren't in either of those professions you pretty much have to run your own biz.

Not only are 99% of the workers deadbeats in FL but 99% of the companies that hire are also deadbeats that think people will work hard for $9/hr..

I used to buy and sell cheap cars in CFL.. I never spent over $500 on a car and I always tripled my money. This was under the table with open titles.. I screwed up and eventually got legal with the dealers lic and a lot.. Was my worst mistake as I lost my ass, but live and learn.. Should of just kept it small as when I started.

What, like Kenny?

I poured out a little liquor for kenny last time I was drunk :thumbsup

Alot of hopeless nights chasin' nickels and dimes
Kenny rode the other bus to school, but at night, he did crimes
Two eleven, one eighty seven, it's like a hobby
Kenny slowed his roll, he did three years for a robbery

Some say Kenny was the poorest kid on the street
But picture this, Kenny with about ten g's and a couple of keys
Huh, servin' the dope fiends, standin' on the corner
Moved and worked from New Orleans to Arizona

I swear to god anytime I get down to selling $10 items I think about rap songs where some sucker is down to serving nickel pieces and I'm like, fuck :1orglaugh

Yeah medical seems to be a huge thing, there. I guess it stands to reason with all of the retirees just everywhere. My ex is a director of nursing and one of my angels down there is a director of clinical care.. they pay them real well, even though my ex is a horrible person and an addict. They must be very desperate for hires out there, jesus

I love how cheap Cadillacs are in Florida. It's like a wonderland of Cadillacs for almost free. How did you fuck up by having a lot? The things I see killing dealers around here it is they pricing shit too high and not financing or outright idiots. I worked with one a couple of years ago and managed to save his ass, then he got rid of me. But he's doing shit like spending sales tax, selling financed cars on floor without letting the companies know, etc.

When I got there he is stuck 4500 in sales tax he's spent, right, going to be shut down in a matter of days, got several overpriced to hell cars on the lot, mentions he has a busa at home. So I get pictures and I list it all over hell.. I listed on CL in okc and kc and he says, no, take those down.. He does not want to deal with long distance buyers

Well in the interim some joker from kc had seen the ad and came and bought the bike for 5 gs ... he was the only call we ever got

I think the guy should have kept me around. The lot went under

PS: When I'm on the street buying and selling automobiles, that is the only way I work, open titles. I'll skip them all day long because you have to. I can't wait over a month and pay their rape fees I need my money turning over and I mean turning over - quickly.

You could do as I used to a few years ago. Buy storage units and sell the stuff that is in them. If you are willing to work hard and you buy decent units you can regularly double your money.

You will find some crazy stuff.

One thing I will never forget is a unit I bought that had a small metal lock box in it. It was about the size of as shoe box. You could hear things rattling around inside it. It wasn't a very high quality one so a screwdriver and hammer was all I needed to open it. Inside was a half empty bottle of lube, a pair of handcuffs and some condoms.

I also never understood why people pay to store trash. Not just crappy stuff, but actual trash. So many units I bought had bags of garbage in them. Had they thrown away all the trash they could have bought a smaller unit.

MrMaxwell 10-30-2013 04:52 PM

I would love to do that, I should go to a sale sometime.. they're always in the paper by law, I think.. I have to wonder if those stupid programs like storage wars didn't ruin it though... you know, bringing out too many idiots who think you can pay 1500 for a locker with an old chair and a bed in there

You know what I mean if you have seen it, right, they think they are doing good if they pay as much as possible and BEAT THE OTHER GUY and WIN THE LOCKER FOR $9,999,999,999

Those shows have brought out the idiots, but you can avoid them. Stick to sales at smaller, kind of out of the way, storage places. Also don't go to sales that are in the late afternoon or weekends. That is when all the people who think they are going to get rich are off work and willing to spend anything to get a locker. If you go to sales during the middle of the week in the middle of the afternoon there will be fewer idiots there.

This reminds me of a saying my father told me.

The real measure of a man is how much work he gets done AFTER his job is finished.

I never really understood that in my younger years. I figured you put in your 8 hour day, came home...ate, read the paper...watch a little tube...go to bed. Repeat.

But as I got older, I began to realize how my father was old school. He'd work an 8hr day - come home, and spend the remainder of the evening doing something constructive. He'd work in the shop, build furniture, fix things around the house. Help a neighbour out with a project. He never ran out of things to do. He was always on-the-go doing one thing or another.

He could do carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting...anything. And when he wasn't actually doing something - he'd study to learn a new skill. He was always the go-to guy on the street for neighbours who needed something fixed.

And this was always AFTER his 9-to-5 day had ended.

I don't even know how people who work regular jobs and then do nothing else live with themselves. Go to work when you're told. Do what you're told. Make $0 and be a failure. 30 more years go by. Bla bla bla. When I got caught up being employed I hustled my way out of it, quickly. I hate not being free. Besides, I was putting in long ass hours, working outside in the dead of winter, and they still paid me $0.

At least that guy had a lot of a life outside of his job, though. If some job was my whole life I would end myself.

MrMaxwell 11-01-2013 05:50 AM

SO this joker is going to pay me on the second!! YaY
I'll be cashed up a few hundred, maybe even a little over a grand..

What to buy What to buy

I love having buying money
Happy christmas time
YaY
