The problem is NOT religion it is a generation full of losers.

They float from one stupid website and youtube clip looking every year for someone or something new to blame for why their lives suck. Never one considering that the reason their lives are so pathetic is their own fault. Huge groups of generation loser almost never go to the park, date, have a hobby, etc. Instead you can walk in almost any shopping mall and see examples of young adults all sitting at a table clicking away on their Ipads instead of socializing with each other.

In the 1960s when the establishment started to act like assholes the youth took to the streets and fought. But what do you do? NOTHING. You cry like babies looking for someone else to fix the problem so you can go back to clicking away on your cheap but over-priced useless pretend Star Trek communicator.

My advice
At least religion is social and if you join a church choir you might make a real friend. Or better still if you want to help the Sea Life, then get off your own fucking ass and do something.

based on some of the comments, and not only from this thread, it's a very sensitive topic for sure, and even tho it might be difficult to logically prove this fact, it seems that there are two kinds of people in the world... those who have faith and those who don't.

to say nothing of the fact that faith could be hardwired into our DNA [ link ], faith could simply be considered a skill just like any other... and it's definitely not a skill taught in a government or communist school. Furthermore, it seems that those who don't have it are hating on those who do, blaming religion for the ills of this world, and calling the faithful brainwashed.

I just have the subtle manners of a lawn mower in a library. As I get older I have less patience not that my life started with much. Besides nothing written on the Interent will ever make a difference in this world.

Here is a synopsis of the sixties

In Europe there was Daniel Cohn-Bendit, Antoinette Fouque, Monique Wittig, Eric Hobsbawm and again many more.

Furthermore we changed the entire way society operated. Not only did we contribute great works of art but everything from premarital sex, civil rights to getting rid of the draft was won because of the sixites counter culture mouvement. If it was not for hippies, men today would still have crew cuts and women would still be going to university for nothing more than an "MRS." degree.

Wheras today the parents of generation loser are over weight wallmart shoppers and their children are nothing more than illiterate and narcissistic video game playing chronic masturbators. They contribute nothing and are incapable of learning anything. Substitute the drug extasy for alcohol and they are more or less the same problem as the parents of generation Woodstock.

Time and learning can change minds.

keep on romanticizing your glory days. the average kid in the 60's did none of those things and contributed to nothing aside from buying a few beatles albums.

regardless these great revolutionaries, these great society changers couldn't raise kids good enough to raise kids themselves.
