the only failure about that device is the price .. for a couple of bucks more you can have top of the line? the iphone 5c should be same price as ipod touch , which should be cancelled
think about it? what makes an ipod touch so special ?? it is about exactly the same device as an iphone ,the only difference cant put in a sim or make phonecalls
just adding that functionality should not be too hard

Its because the price is too high. Its only 14% (or similar number) cheaper than 5s. So no its not affordable, it cost pretty much the same, everyone who can spend 700eur on 5c can spend 800Eur on 5S. So it does not make much sense to buy 5c when you can buy 5s for similar amount of money.
Price gap must be way bigger for 5c to be justified.Comment

And actually even the 5S isn't terribly interesting... I have an iPhone 5 that I purchased about a year ago after I dropped my iphone 4s too many times. The 5s has only a few extra features over the 5 so to me it was not worth the upgrade. However my GF still has a 3 so I'll be buying her a 5s for Christmas.

They had a large production push for launch and have enough stocked up to taper off production. The same thing happened with the iPhone 5. They aren't stopping production all together, just slowing things down after launch.Comment

Actually wrong. People who have lots of money usually know how to count it and they do not like to overpay for anything. For example if I am rich I won't pay 10$ for a cup of tea. Would you come and say - you probably can not afford it? No. So why do you assume people who do not want to overpay for apple logo can not afford it? iTunes is an excellent product. It lets me buy all the music and movies and TV shows that I want, sync it with all of my other devices, easily imports my old CD's (and makes those playable on my other decides too). It also finds my mp3's and indexes them, downloads the cover art, creates playlists, plays music videos, streams to AppleTV, etc etc and on and on.
iTunes also lets me listen to thousands of radio stations, lets me discover new music, makes suggestions on what I might like (which is honestly hit or miss, but still).
Best of all it does everything completely legally and lets the content producers make the money they deserve.

I'm self-reliant person and I prefer to choose everything I need on my own without any suggestions.
I want to be able easily import and export any files I need to and from my phone/tablet without any external programs/interfaces and internet, I want to be able do with my phone/tablet whatever I want anytime I want, is it so difficult to understand?Comment

I have a Mac, iPad, Apple TV, Mac Mini, Macbook Pro & iPhone 5.
The office has a Mac on every desk and everyone has an iPad and iPhone.
Reason ? The product is superior to anything else on the market. It's a better eco system, it makes sense and people get work done faster and are happier while doing it.
Windows doesn't even have a terminal out of the box and then when you add Putty, because windows control c means something different than it does to the rest of the world, things like copy pasting, exiting processes etc just becomes tedious.
Have you ever tried syncing windows phones to an office of Windows desktops ? Just doesn't fucking work.
Exchange servers (Windows) bigest pieces of garbage ever invented in software.
It's not the Mac users who are so-called 'fanboys', it's the retards who still think having a massive box next to their legs and an OS that doesn't even have a terminal built in, let alone other standard tools, is better.Comment

I dont understand why people must spend a half a g every year for a new phone they end up complaining about until the next model "upgrade" comes out. People around here trade apple products like pokemon cards. Got my boyfriend a fairly new ipod touch 4 in exchange for a tattoo I did. rediculous.

We have many Windows pcs and just a few macs at the NETbilling offices. However, many of my staff really want a mac because that is what they use ant home and they know the OS and the reliability of the hardware.
The PCs are often having to be worked on, replaced, parts swapped or replaced, upgraded etc while the Macs keep humming along and never have any of the same issues.
We are considering ditching all of the PCs in the call center, and putting Macs in there.
Hell, I even still have a Mag G4 400 sitting on the floor using it for transaction monitoring, web surfing etc. when needed and it is running off of a 52" TV and it works perfectly, the same as it did when it was new, about 15 years ago. I can surely tell you that no windows machine would do that....
The PC fanboys just don't get that the iOS, MacOS, Mac hardware lines are all about usability, reliability and easy upgradability.
All of the devices easily sync all info, from email to music, to movies, to graphics, bookmarks, open browser tabs, apps, and all other purchases from an easy to use interface, and never needing a tech to help with it.
The Mac is superior. Windows doesn't compare, sorry.

I've had the Galaxy S4 and now the iphone 5c. The iphone provided a flawless experience however so did the S4, except the S4 is more compatible with google services (for a very obvious reason). Iphone ios7 doesn't allow push email with gmail
. That's the only thing I miss when making the switch.

I will give you usability and maybe reliability (I can't get a Genius Bar appointment right now, before Friday...of they are so reliable, why is that?) but Apple products are the least upgradable machines on the market. They even make installing RAM a pain in the ass with the newer models. In most cases RAM being the only thing you can upgrade.Comment

When you say upgradability do you mean adding more memory or buying a new computer?
Sure you can also replace harddrive in some of the Macs if you dare.

Upgradeability is about changing motherboard, upgrading your graphics card, replacing your CPU, and add more storage as you need it. All points where Mac computers fail - except to some degree Mac Pro.Comment
