Any americans that can explain why USA owe this much money, where are the money going.?

Why is there so much US debt? Because the US government is credit worthy enough to borrow it! Next question.

If the shit ever hits the fans we (the world) will all go down together -- that is why the US debt is a world wide concern and why we can finance our largess. I just spent a week in Athens, Greece -- the US is hardly as economically fucked up as Greece. However, the social inequity there is indeed a harbinger of the future that the American people should do something about here.

Seen defacing an expensive marble faced home on the road leading to the Acropolis. I though it better not to take pictures of the riot police I saw blocking main roads and preventing protesters from using the Metro to circumvent the road blockades. This happened both week-ends while I was there ...

The protesters don't have loaded guns in Greece ....
