"Movie soundtrack" isn't a genre though.
That is a classical sample. Whether it's in a movie or not surely...

just because this was written for a movie and not 200 years ago, it doesn't mean it is not classical music
It is not,just based on it.Same as rock is based on blues.Another example,where classical musician plays rock/techo/etc songs on their classical instruments,then it is called crossover.
Also,there is one video on youtube which was arrangement of classic/non-classical music and it best arrangement which i ever heard.But for some reason author removed video,but i managed to pick out info about songs from archive.org(had bookmarked url)
but it is simply not same when listening songs individually.Who would say how arrangement can make such a powerful effect.
