It definitely works. I started commercial content removal during the oron/filesonic/megaupload era when everyone was uploading for profit. And regardless of the reasons for the disappearance of those cyberlockers, without AK's intervention there would many new locker services to contend with than those currently available.


It's quite sad seeing the limited support in the adult community for a project that hits piracy a real broad-stroke beyond ones personal content. If you can't afford $30 a month, you either shouldn't be in adult or you're part of the problem.

There aren't really any ins and outs beyond the type of results AK has already achieved. Basically, it's a case of ....."as a content producer and someone who spends time and money removing their copyrighted content.....would you like to contribute to someone who's going to attack piracy from a different angle on your behalf, and in the process help someone change the piracy eco-system (which will ultimately benefit you) for a few bucks a day".

The other option, no one attacks from AK's angle and we'll all be spending an increasing amount of time over the years removing content from and ever increasing amount of prominent cyberlockers.
