Every now and then, we do get notices about people stealing images.
We chase the link, find the affiliate and take action. That type of practice is not tolerated.
If someone is using your content to promote our programs, let us know.
We are not in the business of stealing content and we do not reward those that do.

Like I said Dating Gold has always been a stand up company and good paying client. I'm glad they have nothing to do with these ads.

But one of the issues that is happening here is that ad/dating traffic/tubes are letting ANYONE join and post ANYTHING and use it for an advertisement... anyone else think it's time for some OVERSIGHT? You guys ever check 2257 docs before letting a client run hog wild with an ad campaign?

Yea there are a lot of thieves making money these days - one pirate who constantly steals my content and repackages it for filelockers was bragging on a pirate forum about pulling in 6-7k per month...oh until I got his payment processor banned....oops I did it again.

they must be paying a LOT for that kind of placement...meaning they are able to make a LOT per click for surfers...can only make that kind of nut per user with some serious banging and x-sales.

Thanks for the good luck comment - but the whole "whack-a-mole" (the idea that you can never win against pirates) thing just isn't true.

If you are on top of your content early and dont let people run wild with it... I have found that you can absolutely be successful in eradicating (nearly) most of the pirated shit out there. (this certainly isn't true for all producers..just my own experience)

when I went to just-fuck.com and clicked on Fuck Tonight it opened up a Milfshookup.com skin. why not hit them at the host level. whois reflects Centurion Hosting which I think is associated with Arvixe.

just-fuck.com whois tracks back to some dude in Lithuania. host is xentracking.

I think you might get the domain register to release the WHOIS info if you show them
the pirating of the content

Another thing you can do is get HTTP headers plugin for Firefox and see what links load as you get to the landing page. If he's using offers from CPA networks you can contact those too. Though not sure how receptive they would be given the volume he's pushing their way. One of my reps at a CPA network told me once they didn't care what I did as long as I got leads

I see some of the ads (if it's the same guy using the craigslist angle) lead to DatingGold landers

i swear dating is so scammy, they just steal any fucking pic they want and use it for promo. I wish i could do that. I have seen this ad everywhere on all the tube sites, probably one of them cpa brokers. I bet the ads stay up unless u sue, because that ad is definitely getting a high ctr. Once u got the right ad for the tubes its like printing money.

working with affiliates myself 99% of them dont pay for any pictures and this is for a variety of reasons.

1. Its expensive to test let alone pay for an image then test it. Its easy to go through 30 images before you find a winning banner, you take a loss when in the testing phase.

2. Time is money, wasting time on a photographer and model.

2. Its easy

Your best bet is to save your time and focus on making more money. Your forgetting that these affiliates PAY for exposure. Thousands among thousands of impressions a day. They are not affraid to get it out there so its not like you are discovering something and making it public.

The media company that sells ad space cant be held liable, (read their TOS) its the affiliate.

Affiliates are smart, some of the smartest users of the internet. Many register with false information at the advertising company, hosting, domain registrar etc so even if you get them to reveal the information it wont get you anywhere.

When an affiliate does get caught, he usually gets a friendly email of please stop and change your content.

The days of piracy are here and in full swing. You must adapt or fail.
