The one thing that made me dislike Clinton more than anything was when i read how he tried to trash Monica Lewinsky as stalker, a liar, and a whore when he got caught. The man has no honor.

If I were the President, and I got caught gettin' a hummer from some government clerk, I know I'd sure as hell try and cover it up. It's only to be expected.

But, I just don't see too much how that has an effect Clinton's effectiveness as a President. What the fuck should the people care what he did in his personal life, so long as they were happy with him as a President?

That might make no sense. Admittedly because I don't know what I'm talking about. Still, I just think it doesn't make much sense to relate the whole blowjob thing to his being a president. It shows he was a bad husband, not a bad government leader.

OK - one more try for you....

When I said I would support the President and the troops - what I meant was - that when this country goes to war - I will support it.

That doesn't mean I agree with Bush on everything - I'm not so self important that I think I have to agree with the President for me to support our Government in times of war.

What I want is for those 200,000+ troops to think that 100% of America is behind them - that is impossible if half the people are trashing their commander and chief because they didn't like his father or how he deals with the economy.

I think that is very important.
