12min videos on tube, content partner program wtf?

so, i see that some of my serps now rules youporn with their content partner program, like fakeagentuk, 8 results on first page in google is their channel, great algo btw, but now checking the channel, the videos are like around 12minutes, now the question is, if someone find the videos, and he will find them if he look into google, why the hell to buy longer? 12minutes is not enough to jerk off? what is going on here? how can we sell something, when the sponsors are giving this long videos for free? am i really that dumb? or am i missing the train?

Like i said in another thread... Tubes don't give a fuck about convertions in the cpp... incomemodel is ads and short vids are a shitty product to offer THEIR visitors. So they want OUR vids so THEIR visitors stay on THEIR site as long as possible. They can all go fuck themselfs with this shit... 12minutes... hahahahaha

Have you ever seen a 6 minutes hollywoodmovie trailer? Free content should tease. Take a music video for example... they are hotter and often more teasing then porntube movies Why? Because of the speed of the images: mostly no shots longer then 1 or 2 seconds. It's hot but at the same time very frustrating for the watcher... everytime they see a hot image it's allready gone again. They can not only not fap to it... it also makes them want mooooorrreeee. It's mindblowing... because images go faster then their brain can register.

You can make a very teasing 5 minute-trailer but just make sure the shots are short. If scenes are too short to fill a 5 min. video with short shots then just simply use different scenes for one trailer.

From my own experience... If i see a 5 minutes free video, or a full video; or a 10 minutes trailer or whatever... I've allready seen it... don't need to subscribe to see the rest. Porn surfers are looking for the best possible scene to fap to that best fits their interest/fetish at THAT very moment. They want to see exactly what they are dreaming about. Well, that doesn't exist. It can come close but it's never good enough. That's why you should not show too much! Because if you show too much you're not teasing them... you only show them that your scene is good but not exactly perfectly what they want it to be according to their fantasy of that moment. TEASE!

Even if a surfer first discovers the sponsor at your site, but still isn't sold and Googles for more samples ......... If the surfer ends up returning through the tube channel link and buying, your not getting credit for the sale.

And the surfer is not as likely to buy after getting what amounts to free trial membership access. The more mystery there is to what exists in the member's area, the more sales potential.

But, here is the real kicker for those promoting multiple sponsors on one site. Your surfer was distracted by your promotions of the sponsor with the Tube channel, so he did not bother to investigate your other sponsors. Not only are you in a position of making less sales for Sponsor A, you are positioned to make less sales for Sponsors B, C, D, etc.

So if you see a trailer on TV for a movie, you have basically seen the movie? No need to watch the full thing, right? I agree 12 minutes is too long but 3 - 5 minutes out of a 30 minute porno, of reduced quality, is definitely not the same as seeing the whole thing. I notice a lot of tube traffic to my paysite skips the trial and buys a full membership. I think it's a similar concept, they see the stuff on tubes and have an idea of what to expect. It's still up to me to deliver my product in a fashion they find valuable.

As an affiliate, it's pretty hard to compete against (especially if you're relying on brand name serps in order to send sales), but there are still ways to do it if you can think outside the box.

Despite what you may think, those channels make JT plenty of sales. Still plenty of people want the whole scene, want to watch it in HD or can't be bothered going through ad filled tube sites.

understand this, but, if you dont see almost whole fucking scene there, and if you dont see the happy ending, dont you think they will make more sales? and also people will be looking for more from the actual video so others can get a piece of the cake? i know that if you have tons of traffic there is other ways to monetize the video at the end, but small affiliate see the drop when those videos are posted ... and of course, nothing what can sponsor care about

It's laughable that the sponsors ended giving people 10min+ videos for free on the tubes. With the millions of views their videos get they're probably getting a few thousand subscribers (at 5239520352905:1 views/signup ratio probably) but they are shooting themselves in the foot in the long run as the adult industry falls more and more...

They are also doubling their money because they don't have to pay affiliate commisions, minus the cost of the channels. And if that is the route sponsors want to go, more power to them.

However, as an affiliate, it's just not worth promoting them at the expense of other sponsors. My income doubled just from dropping sponsors with tube channels, never mind how lengthy the free videos are.

But, yeah ...... they are shooting themselves in the foot, as you say ..... and then shooting themselves in the other foot as more and more salesmen/affiliates look for alternative sponsors to push.

You are 100% correct. Big tubes demand long clips and don't give a damn about your conversions at all.

2 Years ago at Xbiz Miami there was some poor guy trying to sell his tube site. Not only did he have material on the demo splash pages he was showing which they didn't even have the rights to show (as pointed out in spectacular fashion by Mike South during the presentation), he was trying to tell who he thought were suckers in the audience that they should provide his site with very long clips. What a fucking joke.

And he's profitable running a paysite with only bought traffic?? What budget is he playing with on a monthly basis?

I begged and begged for a long time to get sponsors to give me longer videos and I would put up their link back.
But everyone was too busy being against tubes at the time (even legit tubes).

Soon they will be paying for upload accounts.
